Re: Last Man Standing 2017-18
I think I just hit on a solution to the problem of eliminating someone from this round of the competition through no fault of her own.
If you like, Swannie (if I may be so familiar), you can choose a team from this weekend's MLS matches:
New England Revolution v New York City FC
FC Dallas v Portland Timbers
Columbus Crew v D.C. United
New York Red Bulls v Minnesota United FC
Colorado Rapids v Sporting Kansas City
Vancouver Whitecaps v Los Angeles Galaxy
If your selection wins we will simply eliminate Cardiff from your available selections for the remainder of the round.
Sound fair?

What? How dare you stand me down ...... .....just kidding John, sounds fair enough to me. No one expected the game to be (ridiculously in my opinion) called off, so I'm happy to stand down I do however have to deal with Hector!John in Louisiana wrote: ↑Sun Mar 18, 2018 7:15 pm
The only question is what to do with whiteswan, as the Cardiff game was postponed. I don't know that there's a fair solution. I don't want to throw out the entire round because of a single postponement. The rules at the start of the season didn't account for this situation, so I think the only fair thing to do is to say that, since Cardiff did not win, whiteswan can't remain standing and shall be listed among those falling down.
If, however, others feel I have ruled unfairly, please say so.

Fair! You may call me Swannie or swan anytime john.....as my friends on here do ( Hector however calls me ducky.....quite inferior to a beautiful, serene white swan.....He has to be dealt with separately )John in Louisiana wrote: ↑Thu Mar 22, 2018 2:32 pm I think I just hit on a solution to the problem of eliminating someone from this round of the competition through no fault of her own.

Hmmmm! The only person I give grief to is you my dear Hector....and that is because you deserve it! I have to think what to do with you....and in the current climate a whack over the head with an Australian cricket bat should do it!
