I think Kenny gives nicknames to those he loves. First Bert and now Sid.

Sam came with the understanding of what it is to play for Leeds ... Must have felt like home from day one which helps

We still don't know yet if Sam will return to his original RB position. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sun Aug 20, 2023 9:01 pm Sam came with the understanding of what it is to play for Leeds ... Must have felt like home from day one which helps

I guess it depends if we buy a LB in the next 10 days. With Coop out long term I'd imagine Ayling has his spot nailed down purely as he's captain now. Which is going to leave us very vulnerable down our right..

I suppose 10 days isn't much more to wait on 6 years to find one.The Subhuman wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2023 8:15 am I guess it depends if we buy a LB in the next 10 days. As his last remaining fan i think you do, i try to understand your 'blind' loyalty to him but never get there.
Like me DF knows how fcked we've been at LB.
I've got to presume before and during taking the job he looked back at our history over recent years and the shite attempts in our LB position, and i presume thought like this ...
"Holy Jesus Mary mother of God, if i'm to take this job my first task just has to be getting a LB in place, fck me that's easily sorted Sam is available and 10 times better than they already have atm, sorted, simples, next"

Sam will be very useful in any position he’s asked to play.

It was predicted by some regards his injuries, as you say such a shame, he’s been excellent since he came back.

Re: Sam Byram .
I had a blind spot with the injuries to be honest, just sort of closing my eyes and hoping it wouldn’t happen.
I’ve mentioned elsewhere, Sam was the first player my lad lad his picture taken with all those years ago, so I’ve a huge soft spot if only for sentimental reasons.
Fingers crossed it’s not too serious.
