Leeds v Watford - News/Team/Reports/Ratings...

Post by 1964white »

For what it is worth another match thread which will no doubt stir several emotions

Time to bring back Poleon even if he is an attacking option off the bench....play Varney upfront again....push Byram forward to the right side of midfield & drop White to the bench....Tonge in the middle with Brown & drop Austin

There'll be no changes as Warnock considers we were robbed at Burnley.

In truth, I don't remember Paddy having to do much apart from picking the ball out of the net, but to say we were robbed suggests we were all over them, bossed the game and created chance after chance. Did we f*ck! White and Diouf missed good chances, that was it. The rest of the game was a turgid midfield debacle where neither side seemed to want the ball and certainly couldn't keep it when they had it. Warnock needs to look closer to home, the tw@t

And yes, H, it'll be the same eleven, playing the same sorry excuse for football

I dont care anymore, who ever he plays will just smack it ffwd as fast as possable anyway, miss out the chance to give the ball to our old aged pensioners in midfield, and let the strikers chase lost causes!!!! The best part of watching leeds latley is waiting for dirty tackle from Brown. Im yawning just thinking about watching the football league show for the highlights on Saturday!!! :-x

Any lineup that doesn't include Danny Pugh is fine by me.

One of Larry's great signings...£500,000  it would seem Warnock has better it paying out £800,000 for Peltier

At least Pelts has time on his side at 25 and a chance to improve compared to Pugh at 30, fwiw.

Well after another abject performance I expect at least some changes... Colin may have said we were mugged, but I think he meant we were mugs.

-------------Kenny-------------
Green-Peltier-Pearce-White
-------------Brown-------------
Byram-Austin-----Tonge-Hall
------------Becchio------------

Apparently Green's been doing well at RB for the ressies, and with Lees likely to be out again I'd rather have him there than Samby as it limits his attacking threat.

Hall may not be 100%, but he's clearly good enough for 80 mins of reserves, so at least give him a try.

Bench: Ashdown, Kis, Drury, Pugh, Varney, Norris, Diouf :duno:

we're not even good at the back, that's what I expected when Warnock started bringing in players, that we might not be as strong going forward but we'd be stronger at the back. Surely we have one of the worst defences in the league?

....pelts..Pearce..kisnorbo
.......Austin...tonge
Byram..Diouf..green..hall
...........Becchio

Give it a go, son. Maybe if we set up initially with more players up the field, we might have a more attacking mind set?

N.W. "hoping to get a loan player in by the game against Watford".....

Phil Hay ‏@PhilHayYEP
#lufc from Warnock's presser - he's very close to a loan signing after asking the club to let him bring someone in.
#lufc no name given but safe to say it's an attacking player. NW says Hall's chances of starting on Sat depend on whether this loan happens
