Leicester v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
Will be interesting to see how McD approaches this game with his team selection
Will he stick with the same midfield which started v Brighton or could Austin make his first seasonal outing ?
Peltier, Warnock (if fit) McCormack, Murphy & Varney certain to start I reckon
Will Poleon start ?
Will Diouf make the bench ?

Congratulations on starting 80% of the sentences in this post with the word Will.
To those of us over 60 this looks suspiciously like subliminal advertising.

I saw what you did there, Faaip - he'll be on a different plane at Leicester. Nailed on he will screw the opposition and awl who get in his way on the pitch.. :sing: Better than most of the deadload we have in the team ATM and will hopefully plumb bob Leicester and groove with tonge... (sorry) Chiseling a win for us!faaip wrote:Has Diouff been demoted to team carpenter then?....
How's that for a Daiku, GW?
Re: Leicester v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
Same team as vs. Brighton, but Austin instead of Tonge I think. If Warnock's unfit then I guess Drury would be in there.

Re: Leicester v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
I agree with this too as most likely line-up, and looking forward to seeing Austin at full power again - I have fond memories of him crunching the Wolves midfield at the start of last season, I also think he could add some pace and width down the right. Part of me would prefer Poleon instead of either Varney or Hunt, to add pace and ability to beat people, but perhaps too risky away against strong team. I guess Varney and Hunt are more reliable/disciplined when we don't have the ball? Also, Varney is only possible aerial threat?Genghers wrote:Same team as vs. Brighton, but Austin instead of Tonge I think. If Warnock's unfit then I guess Drury would be in there.

Re: Leicester v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
Does that mean Austin in holding role? I'm not sure that he's got the discipline of Green for that role, and I'd rather see him have some license to rampage forwards. Would be good to see White at LB.Shields53 wrote:Kenny

Bit tougher than Green in the tackle and I think the back two need decent cover. You're probably right though.

I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.
Re: Leicester v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
Another tough league match. I am skeptical about Austin being the answer alot of people think he is. Will be good to have Diouf back, if even on the bench.

I think Diuof has only played about 70 minutes of football due to injury so he'll definitely not be a starter. I think he is best employed from the bench anyway.Crude United wrote:Another tough league match. I am skeptical about Austin being the answer alot of people think he is.
