Re: World Cup - Last Man Standing Competition
In the semis Genghers and I have to go with Germany to beat Brazil.
Doc has a choice of Brazil or Argentina

Don't fancy Brazil against the Germans. Argentina it is.Guildford White wrote:

I think we can safely say that Genghers and Guildford are in the final round

I think there should be a rule that you can't pick the same team in consecutive rounds...HarryofOz wrote:I think we can safely say that Genghers and Guildford are in the final round

We both have free picks next round!Dr.Leeds wrote:

And worst of all - you have an enforced pick of Brazil.

Re: World Cup - Last Man Standing Competition
Well this has worked out quite nicely. Though that play-off could be a banana skin though.
Re: World Cup - Last Man Standing Competition
Brazil might not be a bad option though. They'll be desperate to salvage something whereas Holland would be thinking 'what are we doing playing this meaningless game for?'

Re: World Cup - Last Man Standing Competition
The most fascinating outcome would be for the Netherlands to win tonight so that Argentina face Brazil in the third place play-off. That would most certainly NOT be a meaningless game.HarryofOz wrote:Brazil might not be a bad option though.
