It may be a urban legend but I have heard that Somerset farmers were not averse to chucking a dead rat or two into the brewing vat as an extra source of nutrients and protein to give the cider an extra bit of body... I have often wondered how scrumpy gets that cloudy look.

I watched this yesterday, did you notice how the players came into a dressing room after the game, we didn’t even have all the same shirts on!
Some had v-neck short sleeves, others (eg Sniffer) wearing the flying collar long sleeve. Vintage stuff, it wouldn’t happen today. Mores the pity.

I didn't notice that OB. I liked the way DR used to send them for haircuts because he wanted them looking sharp on the pitch. And it doesn't get much better than playing Dominoes in the local does it. Brilliant stuff.
