Re: Nottingham Forest 1-0 Leeds Utd - Match Debate
This match followed an all too familiar trend for this season. How many matches have we started well, even took the lead early on in several, Fulham, Bournemouth, Liverpool, Spurs, Palace etc. We start well in games, our tactics suprise the opposition, several times we've gone in front, several others we've missed great chances but then the opposition figure us out. They then fairly much dominate against us and if they go in front the, apart from against Bournemouth, we simply can't break them down once they realise that if they don't try to stretch the game we are useless. Same even as the season, we started well before being found out. The tactics simply don't work. It isn't the players not being brave, not getting used to the tactics it is the fact that the opposition find it too easy to nullify our tactics. We then continue trying to play the same way and as the match wears on we get less and less effective. Subs come on, like for like, and we limp to defeat after defeat.

Pathetic behaviour
WARNING: During game time, any post I make is not to be taken seriously, neither is it meant as offence. I'm a hot-blooded creature prone to moments of exasperation and expletive.

Just watched the second half on delay. That was beyond pathetic & clueless. We have degenerated so much it’s quite sad. We just had absolutely no idea how to break them down. I’m not bothering with the Marsch bashing but he needs to go. Now. Please god before it’s too late

What a terrible game of football. Are Forest that good, beyond their goal they offered nothing. How on earth are we 6 points behind that lot I’ll never know
Re: Nottingham Forest 1-0 Leeds Utd - Match Debate
Just finished watching it. Decent irst half, Gnonto looked good again, three really good chances.
They score with their only shot!
Forest brought on two defensive players at half time and the game became so congested. They got most of players behind the ball and we totally ran out of ideas.
Cooper and Wober were fine but Ayling and Struijk were really poor as was Roca.
Really worrying that we couldn't beat a poor Forest side.
I expect we will be in the bottom three by this time next week.

Embarrassing and depressing in equal measures.

I also watched on delay Chilli. When it got to 70 odd minutes I wanted to fast forward as it was painful to watch. Also Marsch is starting to look like a freak on the touchline. Like he’s having an endless panic attackChilli D wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 6:39 pm Just finished watching it. Decent irst half, Gnonto looked good again, three really good chances.

He doesn’t look a well man to me, putting him out of his misery would be the kindest thing to do.

Can't say I blame him tbh. It's a very stressful job and club.Barlow Boy wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 7:01 pm He doesn’t look a well man to me, putting him out of his misery would be the kindest thing to do.

There was that video of Lampard on here a while back, looked as if he was going to burst into tears when talking to the fans. Everton put him out of his misery, of course.
I get the same feeling with Marsch now. Time for us to do the same, for his sake as well as the clubs.
