Been completely wasted this season. Should've scored 20 goals, but forced out of position and limited to a couple of mins off the bench.

Most complete performance I've seen from him. Definitely keeps his place.

Oscar who used to post on here called it "one of the best striking performances for us in the last 15-20 years".

He was excellent.

That's the player I think we all assumed we'd get when we signed him.

He showed all the can't do the stuff Bamford does wrong (including missing chances) :)

Oscar stretching Piroe's performance a bit far!

Don't get me wrong, Piroe was very lively, his best game in a long time.

Joel did miss a couple of simple chances.

Lively a bit of a downplaying?

Involved in 3 of 4 goals, excellent movement all night giving Georgie and Jimmy space to play in.

1 chance I'd say, 1st one, 2nd was just good goalkeeping imo.

Had that been Paddy some on here would be commissioning a statue

I'd say one of if not the best striking performance of the season overall imo considering the magnitude of the game as well.

I'm not disputing his display, he was excellent.

That turn in the build-up for Rutter's goal was sublime.

I'm happy for Joel, more please!

Joel's best performance of the season is certainly worthy of spotlight...

Joel's best game for Leeds, as it was for Kamara & Gruev.

We win games when all our players turn up, we've been carrying far too many passengers at times this season.

I think Piroe's performance was much improved because people were passing to him so he was more involved. I think a lot of the time he has looked frustrated after getting into good positions and not being passed to.

A rising ship and all :) With the ball everyone seemed to occupy just the right spaces for just the right amount of time. The anticipation was also spot on--lots of pass were perfectly placed where the passing player knew their teammate would be.

Piroe was told to get involved and play as part of a team, he did.

Most of his other displays have been found wanting because of his expectation of others to play to him.

Something was clearly missing previously between mainly him and Rutter and the front 4 looked disjointed a lot of the time when he was in it.

Something good clicked with them all the other night, i like to think that's DF's work with them, we've yet to see more, and if Norwich's play somehow contributed.

I have never given up on Piroe, there is most definitely a good player in there, and the right combination with other players doesn't always come immediately, some will hit it off faster than others.
Not dependent on Google, the www or 'stats' - Just a guy that puts his eyes to full use on the beautiful game :geek:

I don't think he touched the ball much more than he usually does just think the setup suited him more.

He's spoken before how he likes to be involved, he isn't a goal hanging type.

In the past the midfield is so deep aimlessly passing side to side and back with Rodon and Ampadu until Georgie comes really deep and then the gap between Georgie and Piroe is vast so he gets frustrated and drops.

Norwich seemed different, Midfield was a few yards forward (especially Kamara) so Georgie was a few yards forward so Piroe felt less isolated.

He still made lots of runs between the cbs and full backs and the ball didn't come but I think atleast he felt more involved so he kept going.

That's the player Swansea fans raved about, some lovely touches and passes and just more positive all round.

Pleased for him.
