That was a Farke performance. It deserved more goals.... it was a thing of Footballing beauty. Watford are possibly not a bad side? but we made them look League 2 standard at best. They only got a sniff when we went 2-0 up and went into containment mode. I'm high on Football again so the scores will be big.

Meslier 8: Not a save to make all game but a good one at the end to keep the clean sheet run going.
Shackleton 8: Good in the tackle bombed forward to great effect. Juts a couple of lazy passes.
Byram 10: I thought he was outstanding in defence and that cracking header to put the game to bed. I think we may have got Byram in the best form of his life?
Struijk 9: Him and Coops were rock solid. Welcome to the new, old Pascal we all fell in love with. Don't get me wrong i could defend in a team performance like that.
Cooper 9: Welcome back Captain Liam. Brilliant.
Ampadu 10: Its a bout time he got a 10. There is no one better outside the top 8 PL at doing what he does. I have finally admitted it to myself...He is better than Adams.
Kamara 8: Nice steady introduction. I was going to give him a 7 until that challenge towards the end of the game. More to come.
Summerville 10: Unstoppable. The only way they could stop him was to foul him. He put the fear of god into them. Unlucky not to score and maybe should have passed a couple of times.
James 8: Deserved more assists. Lovely ball to Rutter and then puts it on a plate for Piroe to do his stuff.
Piroe 8: Better all-round game but still not top marks from me in at 10. No one else was going to open the gates today. That's why we bought him. He just knows.
Rutter 10: He should have scored in the first half but when he turns with that ball he's a joy to watch. The pirouette, using his strength and then that lovely run and pass through to Antony. He's arrived. Great for him to do it at Elland Rd aswell.

That was a joy to behold. It reminded me so much of Chelski last season. You probably won't see a more one sided game all season.

Meslier. 7 Nothing to do most of the game. Great save at the end given how he must have nearly seized up. Long balll distribution still pants though.
Shackleton. 8 Great utility player now.
Byram.9 . Who’d have thought when we resigned him he would be playing like this. Best left back we’ve had in jonks.
Struijk 9. DF has given him his confidence back. The player we almost lost
Cooper. 8 Good considering he’s lay off. Bit of “where the f##k did that come from?” moment in the first half.
Kamala. 8 Calm and composed. Great tackler.
Ampaddu. 10 What a signing this lad has been. Makes the CB’s job sooo much easier and pushes the team forward. Early contender for player of the season.
James. 7 Maybe a bit harsh given his assists but I just wish he’d get his head up more.
Summerville. 9 Terrorises defensies , Unplayable at times. On another day he’d be on the score sheet.
Piroe. 8. Got him in to score. Anyone else think Bamford would have put his chance over the bar?
Rutter. 10. Hurray, we are seeing the player we hoped we would get. Strong and tricky. Most teams are going to be mentally on the back foot with our attacking line up.

Anthony. 8. Looks like we have some player. Great finish.

Always a danger with his pace. Two assists, the first of which was sublime.

Doesn't miss easy chances. How great is that? Also showed tremendous work rate and link up play

He didn't score (other than one that was ruled offside). But was quite brilliant. He really is the number 10 we needed. Lots of highlight moments. His contribution for the 3rd could make it a goal of the season contender.

Took goal really well. Looks a really good asset to have

It will be a difficult one to top that performance. Altho i do feel we will beat a couple of sides with more goals maybe it won't be has one sided. Lets hope so tho.

Here is the point with me. James has got a 9 on some of the ratings.

He got two assists. One was a corner and the other was a great cross for Piroe. If Piroe had missed and no one connected with his corner what mark would you have given him for his display.
Other than those two assists he was just not much different to every other performance this season.

So if I was marking he would be between 7 -7.5

All the best players between 8 - 8.5.

I know & I shall post up his numbers shortly.

I rarely give 10/10, but our most consistent player in many years deserves the highest rating.

My god, we could miss him if he picks up an injury.
