What makes me laugh is that I have read so many posts over the last 3 years about the need for a clinical striker who can score 20+ games a season. We may now have one (certainly at this level) and it is a negative 🤷🏼 as we are apparently too reliant on him.

Summerville and Rutter will both be probably double figures at the end of the season if they can avoid injury. I hope Archie can get a goal before Christmas that would boost his confidence even further.

Just as a point we are still without two of our best players IMO - Gnonto and Spence.

He’s never going to surpass the great man himself (I’m sure you know who), but he’s made me enjoy going to the football again (just like the great man did).
He's coming across good BB and is trying to play some good stuff, at least we can see what he's trying to do, and we have a certain shape to us with the 4-2 going to the 3-1 who mix it up well, Jimmy seems to do ok when he goes in the middle anorl when Anthony came on, he's creating some variety up there, i sometimes wish Pablo was involved.

Interesting fact. In 2019-20, after 11 rounds we were in 5th position, and had already lost 3 times.

Bristol are a very good away side otherwise we’d win at a canter.

PS, I’m copy and pasting this for the positive and negative thread 😉
I did say on another thread, Bristol City would have more to offer than Watford & QPR. I watched them at Hull earlier in the season, they ran the show at the KC & deserved more than the one point from that game.

We just happen to have more quality in every department.

We are a cut-above the majority of our championship opponents.

Five goals in eight games

If he continues that goalscoring form & stays fit, he could score 30 goals this season. :soccer:

It’s great to have a prolific striker in Piroe now, we’ve all known for years we needed one, so I’m quite happy for him to be sticking them away.

The rest of the attackers need to step up too and aim for double figures. Jimmy needs to get his head up.

But the big bonus is Byram. A header off the line, throwing his body at a goal-saving block shortly after. If he hadn’t been there Piroe’s goal would have meant 2 points less. On a free. Get in.

Georginio had taken a knock as he had an ice-pack on his left-leg, when he came round to applaud our fans at the end of the game, Joe

If you can’t watch Georgi with a smile on your face you need to sit in a dark room and twat yourself in the face with a brick. Same with Archie.

Georginio brings a glow to my heart, every time he is on the ball, he is a joy to watch!

There was one moment today, where we were defending a set-piece in a crowded box, our defenders were trying to win a ball off one of the Bristol forwards, along comes Georginio & barges his way into the melee of players with his bodyweight & won the ball dribbling the ball out of the danger zone.....made me chuckle

A real crowd pleaser 8-)
