It's shite. No surprises there, then.
It's criminally bad, a track to be sold to suckers, a cash in piece.... nasty. It may go down in my view as the worst piece of serious music ever but Ebony and Ivory is still out there..

I'd say the same for Double Fantasy, which I got for Christmas in 1980, unfortunately.

The majority of musicians aren't put on the same pedestal as the Beatles. It's the ridiculous overstatement of their abilities I object to.
1000's of top musicians have either recorded or performed Beatles songs, including many top named classical instrumentalists.
Nearly 200 Beatles songs have been covered, there are 1600 cover versions of 'Yesterday' alone.
Their songwriting & musicianship can't be that bad!
Have to agree with the majority this time. The song was definitely a B side at best and was probably dragged up to make a bit of cash.
Yes its crap, and its sort of taken a little bit of shine off the Beatles legacy. Stop destroying one of the most important bands, and their considerable achievements by releasing substandard junk to make a buck... I would question the motives behind the rights to the song before blaming everything on the Beatles. Paul and Ringo really do not need the money...

You are spot with your observations but unfortunately there are a few that can never be convinced.

Corrine Baily Ray's new album is really different and excellent. Got to be taken seriously in what is an amazingly strong year for new music
