Do you want the team with nothing to play for bar the cup or the team going for a champions league spot maybe resting players ?

Agreed on both counts. Another match bossed by Gruev and some nice moments from Joseph--should have had at least one goal.
In Farke we trust...

Concede a bit of as fluke goal as the wind played a large part or Meslier gets there easily...

But still - I admire Farke for showing commitment to a cup tie and bringing on the big players when they equalized.

Always, always, play to win and give your best.
nearly 4 days rest, no need to work them too hard, team meetings with the blackboard... bit of skill training...

We got a goal from the Gruev corner

However, in general the quality of our corners and set pieces is poor

Joffy looked quality out on the wing... very unlucky not to score... We don't have a deep squad and injuries will mean weak benches but we do have a vert strong first team squad with quality depth. Think this is a better 18/20 than the team that Bielsa took up

You sound just like Farke in the press conference. :)
But oyu're right - players want to play - this is why you become a footballer - to play big games when it matters.

I liked what Farke said about not getting a mindset that "rest is needed" - it plays on the mind. I think that was a politically correct way of saying "I vil not hav mein players become vimps, Ya?"

Coop played very well after a dodgy first half hour, most improved as the game went on ... Not saying he should satrt v the oremiership team but he's very experienced at that level
