as frustrating as rutter is, losing the ball sometimes, he won us that game by creating all three goals

how anyone can leave him out of their top three, let alone top six, is somewhat baffling

Kamara again
Rutter
Ampadu
Gray
Rodon
Meslier

Not fair to put any subs on the list, yes they contributed, but Farke made the call and in the end the difference, others could be in that 6 except for firpo the clueless.

Rutter (final 25 minutes were incredible)
Kamara (was everywhere)
Ampadu (was also everywhere…liked the interplay between him and Gruev, who dropped back when Amps surged forward)
James (electric when he came on, Leicester had no answer)
Bamford (Ritter’s MOTM performance is dependent on him coming on)
Gnonto (looked pretty good at the start, but fizzled)

Honorable mention to Les Mes and Rodon
Fly Fishing, Skiing, and The Damned United

Absolutely, they must have turned off and missed last 10 mins.
MOTM for me

But if we have to limit the list to our own players.........

Ampadu
Gnonto
Meslier
James
Bamford
Rodon
I'm changing mine to this

I never Rate the Ref as it's just biased by how much he favored us. But yesterday's ref can have a 10.

I think our midfield battled but the gaps in the middle because Kamara had to help out on the left left gaping holes which they often took advantage of. But Kamara had a good game and would be second for me. After that it could be anyone, but Mes third, big save at a crucial time.
I picked Ampadu because not only was he strong defensively, he got into some really good attacking positions. Almost like a De Bruyne (exaggeration) he was always looking to make a difference going forward

I was calling for Ampadu to be captain in late August, ahead of Cooper & Struijk.

Ethan deserves to be the leader of our team.
I'd keep Ampadu as captain when Strujil comes back. The man is inspiration and a true leader - by voice and example

If he'd come on as sub, he'd have been a clear man of the match. But first half was poor.

Strujik is a surprise to me. Self confessed introvert. Not very vocal. And does seem to question his own game at times.

But prior to Farke, Marsch made him captain for a game too. He's got something about him that isn't immediately obvious to us on the outside. I am impressed with his confidence in front of goal. And he's one of our best penalty takers too. Shows character.

Why not?

Without their immense contribution, we don't win that game.

Thankfully, Farke took off two passengers, who provided virtually nothing.

Because they only got 30 minutes at most and even though theycontributed to the win, were'nt as impressive as the 6 I've mentioned imho.
Although Charlie Cresswell was better than firpo and he wasn't on.
