Like most people have already noted elsewhere on here... a tale of Two halves. First half comfortable, flowing but not clinical like we have come to expect and the second...Laboured pedestrian and like the players were running on empty. First Bamford, then Joseph would press forward look over their shoulder and the rest of the players would be stood in two lines backwards from the half way line. Was it a tactic? but Stoke (like a Plymouth did under schu) took the initiative second half and probably deserved a draw. Most of the players were good first half.

Meslier 8.5: I can't remember how many saves he made but too many for my liking.
Roberts 7.5: Kept his game pretty solid throughout.
Byram 7.5: First half like he had never been away. Second half most things went down his side. Good return from Sam.
Rodon 8: Its big Joe.
Ampadu 8: I can't fault the back line with a clean sheet under sustained pressure 2nd half.
Gruev 7: Some good bits of play throughout but he drops too deep for me at times.
Kamara 7: Fantastic first half faded in the second.
James 8: From what i can remember at the heart of most things we did well. Great strike for his goal.
Summerville 7: Again good first half, lots of skill but not so effective when we are on the back foot.
Rutter 7: We lose something when he goas off. Even when he's bad he's still our most creative force.
Bamford 7: One shot of note dropped deep to link play.

Joseph 7.5: Nothing better than Youthful exuberance is there. Unlucky not to score down to good defending.

All its looking a tad flat at times we got the job done. The lads will be kicked up in the air again on Friday lets hope they prepare for that.
