I think Rodon plays in the prem next season just not sure who for and it's 50/50 it's with us. But RCB's should be fairly easy to replace and if we're in the championship Charlie Cresswell will have to come of age. We already have premier talent in Struijk.

Our head of Sport Science (Tom Robinson) has been with the club for 13 years, so he must be doing something right!
What it can't do is moniter how a hamstring is holding up.... just tell you how far Gnonto has run and his vital signs I'd assume.

Won't be many clubs relegated ever who owed £190mil and were only due to receive £2mil.

Parachute payments only cover a small fraction of that, we'd need to raise £100-150mil from sales just to cover that.

Then what do we use to rebuild the squad which is likely to need pushing 10 signings with the sales, out of contracts and loan returns?

No guarantee we could raise funds by selling the loan rat's as we know they all have loan contracts so they can all go out on loan again.

Imo it isn't gloom talk it's realistic.

Those accounts make ffp failure next season a real possibility as well.
I’m sure you’re correct Cjay but look what McKenna did with his ragtag mob. You need a young progressive manager in this league or at least that’s what I’d like anyway.
Ipswich won’t fade. As predicted.

I might not be who knows.

Just seems a coping measure thought to say "well next season might be ok" which I understand.

Different conversation that about manager :)

DF was meant to be the sure thing whose experience when it matters would give us an edge.

Doesn't seem to be the way it's gone so far unfortunately.

I think if it was project over a few seasons you don't go for DF, that's not his track record.

Ps I'm partly serious. Look at Man City and the other cheats. If you can't beat 'em.....
Frustrating isn’t it, I can’t think of a team who gave been relegated from the top table for financial cheating.

They monitor the load on the body and combined with the data already stored on the player (including his injury status) red flag the team on the sideline.

But it can't tell you the state of the hamstring itself.. It a nice excuse but it's basically rubbish.... If we take off players based on a normal "load" for a footballer we'd have to cut games to an hour.

Lets stop discussing it, you have your opinion and I have mine.

It would seem fouling, time-wasting & cheating pays off in modern day football.

Pears the Blackburn keeper took over 350 seconds to take goal-kicks/clearances.

Their ugly Rovers team spent about 200 seconds at throw-ins, corners & set-pieces.

Add on 240 seconds for the eight substitutions....

That's over 13 minutes taken out of the game, which doesn't account for Rovers committing 15 fouls, half of them cynical challenges, which left Ampadu (elbow in face), Summerville, Gnonto & Rutter all grounded, as they kicked us at will. How Gallagher the big lump avoided a yellow card, possibly a red, is beyond me with the elbow incident & three other fouls, two of them cynical.

Anyway, only seven minutes was added on, one in the first-half & six at the 90 minutes mark.

We are the second bottom for scoring goals from set-pieces in the championship.

I haven't got excited when we get a corner in a very long time.

I don’t blame Blackburn in the slightest for their tactics & time wasting, did exactly what it took to win. The referees need to be stronger and we need to be smarter but we still may have been handed another Get out of Jail Free Card by Leicester & Ipswich. Hindsight is always a great thing but the substitutions killed us & left us wide open to the counter.

We could have played a corpse upfront, it would have carried more of a threat. A great deadball specialist as well.

Our corners record is a disgrace.

He'd be better off just taking a short kick, retaining possession, and take it from there, the only aerial threat we have, is on the bench.

At least we don't have to watch Blackburn every week.

I wouldn't mind having Sammy Szmodics in our line-up next season.
