Re: Loan Watch

We're not the only team to pay middling money for a player in the prem only to find we've not got our monies worth. Manure paid 82M for Antony... what's he worth now 20 at best? Everyone wastes big money on players but then gets big money in for players they paid peanuts for ... swings and roundabou...

Boycott Greenidge Lara Richards Tendulkar Botham Gilchrist Wasim Akram Marshall Warne Garner Impossible to argue with, I went with Knot at WK as he was the greatest exponent at the position in my lifetime. Doesn't score the runs like Gilchrist does but I'm not necessarily looking for runs from my WK

Re: Cricket 2023/2024

Randall was a brilliant, exciting batsman. Garry Sobers, Lance Gibbs, Wes Hall, Ken Barrington, Geoff Boycott & Freddie Trueman would be in my Best XI. Never saw Sobers play, nor Trueman nor Hall. I obviously get why Boycott and Trueman would be in there and indeed my favourite cricket "ta...

Re: Norwich 2nd leg pre match chat

The fact that his groin surgery might not have had time to recover could have something to do with his form. Six months or Two months, surgery needs recovery time. Georgi hasn't had that luxury due to our squad shortfall, Farke has had to play him, recovered or not. I'd imagine it was keyhole surge...

Re: Cricket 2023/2024

That's a fantastic team. Picking my best XI would be a tough ask for me. not many would have Derek Randell in an all time 11 but a great flamboyant batsman and what a fielder ... Would loved to have included Botham, but Hadlee was just so consistently great, Viv would be a better three than Gower, ...

How come you are a Hants person?? I thought you would be supporting Surrey.. When I was 2 we moved to Ash Vale, which is in Surrey and I stayed there till I was 22. But the postal address was Ash Vale, Aldershot,Hants. My dad played first class cricket and loved playing and watching the game, he as...

Re: Cricket 2023/2024

Another high scoring draw for Hants .... going to be long season for us I think. Our strength is our attack but, with the Rosebowl as flat as apancake atm and the kookaburra balls, that's been nullified.. Hoping for a good season from Tom Prest and the other Hampshire youth

Re: Norwich 2nd leg pre match chat

You might remember my concern in January that Rutter was the one player we couldn't afford to lose through injury as he's irreplacable and absolutely vital to how we play as an attacking force. Unfortunately we've now lost him to loss of form instead which is even worse as it's like playing with on...
