Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 30th April) All Phillips is interested in, is playing for Leeds

He abdicated. The phrase, "Thank you for your service" comes to mind. Closely followed by, "how was the grass on the other side?" It's not as though he's likely to have many other options is he? And only if we get promotion? That really smacks of a massive desire to help us out....

Re: QPR v Leeds - Player Ratings

Not sure we should play strikers purely on what they might do in defence, surely we want strikers to be strikers

Here I go again. Wait for me............!!!!! Can I still nominate a 2011 album? One of my fav's: The Black Keys - El Camino We move fairly quick here Malcolm, especially with less users than we've had in the past.. Check in every 2/3 days... But El Camino was nominated in the first 2011 poll, it f...

Re: QPR v Leeds - Player Ratings

But you haven't docked Rutter 1.5 for losing possession in dangerous areas in previous matches. This is the problem, our midfielders & full-backs put Ampadu & Rodon under immense pressure. Even our forwards can't defend set-pieces at the near post efficiently. Is it any wonder they get thro...

Re: QPR v Leeds - Player Ratings

Made a right pigs ear defending the first goal. Chair was 10 yards away and Rodon oddly had his hands behind his back. Made him immobile to defend the shot. I dropped him a whole 1.5 for that, no clue what he was thinking and had he got that one blocked you're probably looking at a different game

Re: I want playoff football and here's why

Getting through the semi final will be the hardest part. If we get to Wembley with that big pitch, the likes of Summerville and Gnonto will have a field day. If we get there, I fully expect us to win whoever we play. I’m the other way around, can see us winning over 2 legs but a one off game can go...

Not by a long chalk ... Stats can work but they're overly simplistic in football. I rely on stats a lot in the American version where I can ignore the obvious stat and use the important ones.

Genuinely hadn't noticed and hasn't been mentioned I don't think. Poor Udders as irrelevant as they have been for 100 years. But been relegated to League 1. The headline on the BBC is incomplete Leicester promotion fuelled by 'pure belief should read Leicester promotion fuelled by 'pure belief and ...

Re: MOT's Young Player Of The 2023/24 Season (21yo or under). PLEASE VOTE AGAIN.

Is the Gray vote purely he's Leeds royalty and it doesn't matter how he's played? Because tbh, I really cannot see how Geo, who's carried this team at times, created so much and has probably had a hand in 50% of the goals we've scored, is so far behind, Gray has had a decent first season, been expos...

Re: QPR v Leeds Utd - Post Match Discussion

I won't debate Orta as I thought he was a pretty useless arrogant tosser focused on his own reputation and his desire to sign the next big thing for his own reputation over just the right player. But I don't think his signings were s**t at this level at all. Neither should they be given what they c...

Re: QPR v Leeds Utd - Post Match Discussion

Whats Orta got to do with it? Summerville has worked out well tbf to Victor as has Gnonto and both had shown enough in the Premier League for that to be suggested they'd thrive in the Championship. Georgie Rutter has always been talented, just a bit of an enigma of a player but not without talent (...
