Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 4th Oct)
Weaker - but maybe because we're stronger? I don't see good footballing teams like Wolves and Fulham. Villa, Derby and Boro are all weaker from the play off teams and the relegated teams aren't all that to me. Tom Pearce should get a chance. Not sure about Smith. Isn't it the whole operation at Bren...

Re: Championship 18/19
They've had a lot of penalties already as well, about 5/6, which make up most of Rodriguez's goals. There's always one team who get double figures in penalties, Bournemouth, Brighton, Palace, they will be the side who get loads this season. Gayle was diving about yesterday as well trying to get one.

Re: Gianni Alioski
He's better than Harrison. Fans only seem to rate him as he's on loan from Man City, but he only joined them in January and will never play for them. Like Mooy, they signed him from their feeder club to sell for big bucks. (Hopefully not us)

Re: Steve Bruce
It was always a matter of when rather than if with him. I still think he'll walk into a top job as he has a big reputation thanks to his mates in the media. That said, I don't think Villa's problems will suddenly disappear with him gone. Their best players were loans and haven't been replaced. The f...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 3rd Oct)
I don't get the complaining about the performance last night. Why overexert ourselves if we don't need to? We were at about 60% and were never in danger, saved some in the tank for Saturday as well. Adkins moaning about level playing fields, but rich since Hull are still receiving parachute payments...

Re: Repetitive
1st in the league so cant really complain to much :) Just a small concern, maybe shows Bielsa's lack of Championship and 46 game experience. Thought tonight we looked a bit laboured, not for the 1st time, a few times this season i thought we have looked a bit jaded. Just little things, tired passes...

What's his heritage as he's mixed race? Just wondering if he could get a call up for another country.

Roberts - anonymous mostly, but goals win games and I've been screaming for our players to just shoot rather than overplay it all the time.

Re: Hull City v Leeds Utd Match Thread
Not vintage Leeds tonight, but I said after the wendies, we'd play much worse and win, as was the case. Given how poor Hull were, these kind of games are a must win. Still wasting big chances, Alioski and Douglas should have scored first half. I don't see why Roberts isn't more confident, all his th...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Mon 1st Oct)
Morning all. You could see by Reach's reaction that he didn't mean it. Obviously sky are declaring it the goal of the century and how he meant it. I though Klich's was better given the curl on it. It's hard to gauge West Brom atm. I saw them v Birmingham and Boro and they were poor in both. They've ...

Re: Championship 18/19
Haven't been totally impressed with anyone we've played in the championship so far this season. Boro' were defensively very good but they offered very little attacking-wise We made Norwich look poor as you well know Norfolk Looking forward to Wigan in November now :) Agreed. West Brom haven't reall...

Re: Kalvin Phillips
Silly season has started early . . . . . Arsenal, SPurs and Everton apparently want Phillips and Southgate is considering calling him up for England. Did ok vs Wednesday (few sloppy passes again) but England and top 6 Prem player . . . . . . . . . Well Southgate did say he's looking in the C...

Re: Must do better
100% agree. When you hear the opposition manager basically saying we ripped them apart and should have won then it speaks volumes. Like you say some team will get stuffed by us soon and it will be a flip from this match and we will probably score 6 out of 7 shots and not play as well as we did last...

Re: Must do better
No luck atm or all season.
Douglas hitting his shoulder not head.
The almost own goal from them that went just wide.
The hit and hope that goes in off the post, if it was us it'd be no goal.
If we start getting the luck of others we'll coast to victories.

Re: Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds Utd Match Thread
Gutted to only get a point, completely undeserved for the wendies, but we're just not getting any luck atm. On another day we win 8-0, but such is life. I think we'll give someone a hammering soon, hopefully on Tuesday. The annoying thing is we'll probably have Roofe, Bamford and Brown all fit and f...

Re: Leeds Utd v Birmingham City Match Thread
Agree to a certain extent although : Baker hasn't set the world alight yet Forshaw still looks unfit Dallas put in a decent shift yesterday but he is a bit player imo! Pearce maybe although Douglas hasn't been overstretched yet Clarke is an unknown quality at championship level although I'm not dou...

Re: Leeds Utd v Birmingham City Match Thread
We could do with mixing it up a bit. Ali and Klich haven't had a rest yet as they've played every game and the two internationals, Phillips and Saiz have played every game. 11/13 games in a month and a half is a lot. Tiredness must come in as a factor at some point. We have some decent options we've...
