Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 19th May) - Financial burden of relegation revealed

They've only themselves to blame if we're relegated as their management of the club has been appalling

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 5th May) So much about this season has been wrong

This season has been a classic example of how NOT to manage a newly promoted club. The fans deserved better.

Re: Arsenal v Leeds Utd Match Thread

If we go gung-ho Bielsa style like we did against citeh I can see us getting another pasting 3-0? If we defend well and aim to hit the on the break I can see us keeping it to 1-0.

ReThe #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 5th May) So much about this season has been wrong

The seeds were set in the summer when El Loco, believing his own hype, thought he could take on the world with weak, third-rate squad. Buying the Headless Chicken was, for him, the icing on the cake. It says everything about him.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 4th May) Leeds haven’t done enough

Sorry guys but I resigned myself to relegation at Christmas. Bielsification, or whatever other ludicrous name you give it, is the root cause. Playing kamikazi football with the dross we have was doomed to end in failure. He wasn't called El Loco for nothing.

Re: If we go down, I'm going to support...

I can't believe that fans are still going on about El Loco. Yes he performed a miracle getting us promoted but it's his stubbornness and stupidity, believing in his own hype, that will take us back down. His legacy will be to take us back to where we started, he may as well not have been here at all.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 1st April) - Bamford's injury could plague him throughout his career

We can no longer rely on Bamford, his career at Leeds is over and he should be written off. We need a couple of proven strikers this summer. We can't survive on a tight budget at this level.

Re: Three Changes Jesse Marsch Has Made That Could Transform Leeds’ Season

OK Marsch isn't as harebrained as Bielsa - we've stopped giving away goals for fun but he still plays the Headless Chicken at CF and that's plain stupid.

As lufc1304 says, it would be easier to make a list of the ones I can stand - there are some really irritating gits out there. Alan Carr gives me the creeps but there are so many.

Re: Marsch post Leicester

I thought Marsch had been watcbing Leeds games for a while yet he still picks Firpo, Klich, Rodrigo and James, up front, and Roberts as a sub. 🤔

Re: Pluses and Minuses

A better all-round performance but still wastefull up front. Marsh has a tough job on his hands as some of our squad just aren't good enough. We lack the quality of most Premier League clubs.

Re: For the Long-Term: If Leeds Were to Stay Up, How Much Investment in the Squad Do They Need?

We'll need to see who leaves (Raphinha, Phillips, Meslier) in the summer before we make an assessment on how much investment we need. For now I would think well in excess of £150m. Where that's going to come from goodness knows. I think we'll be embroiled in perpetual relegation battles.

Re: Bielsa gone- RUMOUR now done

A man of great integrity but he turned me into a nervous wreck with his slapdash brand of football. Good luck to him but I'm glad he's gone.

Re: How has Bielsa made you feel?

A man of integrity and principal that was sadly misplaced in today's world.
Because of his adherence to tactics that were killing us it was always going to end this way. His lack of long-term commitment forced the management's hand.

Re: I've lost faith in Marcelo Bielsa and it makes me sad

I suggested, before Christmas, that Bielsa should have been sacked. Our loyalties are to Leeds United not one crazy individual. We should be eternally grateful to him for getting us out of the Championship but he, and his gung-ho tactics, were clearly out of place in the Premiership. There can be no...

With his talent he'd be a fool to stay and there's no likelyhood of that. Phillips too, although I think he's overrated, and Meslier. We had our chance and blew it we'll only be able to hang on to the dross when we go down - thank god we'll still have Roberts.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 16th February) It's just about survival now

For a while now I've thought we'd finish in the bottom four but recent results have convinced me we'll go down. We should have sacked Bielsa before Christmas and brought in a new coach with fresh ideas. I find the attitude of our management impossible to comprehend.
