Re: Grot and Cibicki

Far too early to make a judgement yet Cjay  I thought Cibicki showed some nice touches on his debut v Burnley, he got taken out a couple of times when running at the clarets defence, overall I didn't think he did too bad ! Grot is clearly not ready yet but hopefully with the game experience ...

Grot and Cibicki

First start for both, neither were spectacular, Grot in particular struggled without being really poor.

But what do we think? Early days i know but first impressions, lets go direct replacements

Grot or Doukara
Cibicki or Antonsson

Re: Burnley v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings....

Enjoyed the game Played in the right way lots of tasty challenges and such from both sides. :hammer: Burnley play very direct which not to keen on but whatever works, lots of long diagonal hoofs to Vokes/Wood and look to pick up the knockdowns, thought we handled them reasonably well, they scored fr...

Re: Tuesday's Breakfast Debate....Centre-Back Crisis

can't remember the last time you made a post that didn't mention harlee dean! :roflmao: In my opinion, Birmingham shipped a load of goals since he's arrived and costing only 2 million he can't have been that highly rated - even if he was out of contract at the end of the season. Think we're probabl...

Re: Tuesday's Breakfast Debate....Centre-Back Crisis

I can find an argument for us being stronger all over the pitch but for centre half. Look back on 1st game of the season, no Pontus. Yes we had injuries etc but Gary Madine with the greatest of respect is an old fashioned lump. Big and strong and good in the air that is all he is. He bullied the cbs...

Re: Tuesday's Breakfast Debate....Centre-Back Crisis

Big concern for me, probably the biggest we have :( All for showing faith in young players but O'Shaughnessy wasnt even a cb till July :? And he is now our only fully fit cb. Greatest of respect to Cooper (who has surprised us all so far). Pennington (talented) amd O'Shaughnessey (done well). But Po...

Re: Burnley v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings....

Dont think there is any call to panic, not yet, we played poorly and Millwall played well, they were the better team and they won. :duno: Panic is when the definition of insanity sets in, if we perform like that a few more times and there is no change THEN we panic, but i cant see TC letting that ha...

Re: Grazie Mille Massimo Cellino

When the players were crap and results were too as was the football you could always relay on Massimo to keep our great club on the front pages. Obviously not all were for good reasons but there's no doubt he was a character and a very interesting man, I would have loved to have met him. I'm so ple...

Re: Millwall v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings....

Re: Best Chairman in recent history?

This is a lame duck argument. Like telling a child whose parents beat him: "You should just be grateful they had you in the first place". If Cellino hadn't bought Leeds, someone else would have. Chances are they'd have done a far better job of ridding the us of GFH's involvement than he d...
