Re: Leeds U18s v Man City U21s - 7pm TONIGHT

Man City u18s play better football to watch than our 1st team

The City players look bigger and stronger than ours anyhow.

And as its Man City they've probably poached all these and sportswash the u18s as well.

Re: Patrick Bamford

Agreed with you right up to the last statement. When has Paddy ever received universal praise? He's been a whipping boy for a significant minority of the fans since he first arrived. We're going to miss him this week. He's had a strange relationship with the fans, it's got really nasty in the past ...

Re: Patrick Bamford

He may have played well personally but it's a team game and he sits way to deep for a striker and doesn't have the pace to recover. He needs a striker ahead of him. Personally I think he did well overall, held the ball up, scored a goal, even making goal saving tackles in our own box. Set up 3 chan...

No

Loan contracts officially end after the season ends to stop this I believe (regardless of whether the player has physically returned to the permanent club)

No he'll play Piroe .

We know he will.

And tbf to Piroe he was our best player vs Southampton (slim pickings admittedly)

Re: Patrick Bamford- Will miss playoff semi final

Methinks there was another injury which showed up on a scan or tests they ran and they then missed the current problem. Not for the first time we have lost players due to this. Forshaw and Roberts come to mind Rob Price had a patchy record before he arrived. Maybe he is the issue? Seems a recurring...

Re: Norwich City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Shane Duffy will possibly be available

Christian Fassnacht is back in training as is Jonathan Rowe.

Thats 22 goals or assists back for Norwich.

But Ashley Barnes and Onel Hernandez are out.

Re: Norwich City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Farke's here - team news? Daniel James is making good progress. He's coming closer and closer. Joined in with parts of team training. Tight rce, but has a chance. Depends on the next 48 hours. Could be he is an option. Not ready for 90, but an option to travel. Patrick will definitely miss both leg...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 9th May) Norwich told to be brave against 'flaky' Leeds

If we perform how we've performed basically since February we won't get through the playoffs. For me aside from the results it's big for Farke and the players to put in a proper performance. Even through the running run it was less than convincing. Hull Leicester Stoke Plymouth Results didn't tell t...

Re: Today's Games

Olympiakos have completely owned Villa in these two legs.

6-2 on aggregate

2-0 on the night.

Not even the current Greek Champions, Aek Athens are under former managerial target Matias Almeyda.

Fair play Olympiakos.

Oxford United beat Peterborough United 2-1 on aggregate in their League One play-off semi-final to set up a meeting with Bolton at Wembley. Trailing 1-0 from the first leg, it was Posh who netted first in the return fixture at the Weston Homes Stadium, Josh Knight smartly placing the ball into the ...

Re: Norwich City v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Neutral analysis nqWsmKLseFM Interesting point in that about over a 46 game season they'd have Farke but in knockout football they'd have Wagner. Does that maybe apply to Southampton as well? :duno: In the sense that Farke and Martin are all about thuis mythical "project" stuff, not overl...

Re: Loan Watch

Middlesbrough will not be taking up the £1.5mil option to buy on Sam Greenword according to local Boro media. Despite a respectable 5 goals and 3 assists it seems it masked an overall underwhelming loan with 7 of those coming in an 8 game purple patch October/November time and after that not much el...
