He’s also got to win over the dressing room and I’m sure they’ll mention the Chelsea preference. If anything he’ll be super fired up to prove Chelsea wrong and demonstrate how good he is for Leeds.

Re: January transfers and squad discussion
I think you'd agree that the side we put out against Derby County with a few exception are our backup players. Considering the opposition and level these players should really stand out and make a case for starting in the first team. I disagree that we have decent dept, if Gudmunsson gets injuried ...

Re: Lucas Perri
Maybe our goalkeeper coach sucks? (Whoever he is). Meslier was similar, debut his passing was sensational. Few years with Orta's mate who'd never played above amateur level and that went. Just looked we have another non league footballer as coach. I agree. I was at Meslier's debut at the Emirates ...

Re: Lucas Perri
Do we have a goalkeeping coach? If we do I think it's them who need to be replaced as our keepers seem to be getting worse.

Re: Does Perri start against Newcastle? - Poll of the Day (6th Jan)
Perri starts IMO. Probably the best keeper we have commanding his six yard box. What concerns me about him are: He seems very slow to get down to low shots. The offside scum goal being the perfect example. His kicking is nearly as bad as Mes's! His reading of the game. He is no sweeper keeper and ...

Re: Boxing chat
Sounds like JP ran around the ring for four rounds once he felt a punch. Not a good performance from AJ, but apparently he got £78 million for it. Easiest money he will ever earn!

Hopefully this whitewash (and that's what it'll be) will be the catylist to give the ECB the excuse to bin the 100 and concentrate on proper cricket. I wouldn't count on it though.

Re: January transfers and squad discussion
Evan Ferguson on loan at Roma and they want to end the loan agreement with Brighton. He has not rediscovered his form and hasn't sparked on loan at West Ham / Roma but is a good potential fit for us. Loan deal with Brighton ?? Definately worth a try IMO and I don't think it will break the bank ...

Andrews hasn't even been manager for half a season yet. Not comparable at this stage.

Re: Gruev or Tanaka to start at Brentford? - Poll of the Day (10th Dec)
With the formation likely to be 3 centrebacks plus Ampadu and Stach I think another DM (Gruev) is overkill. Fair enough against Liverpool where the idea appeared to be to try to keep it tight, which we did to a reasonable effect until the Rodon error, but I do feel we need to offer more threat than ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 9th December) The seven days that have re-shaped Farke's Leeds United career
You do realise that Farke had 3 players on the bench, Harrison, Aaronsen and Okafor, that could have 'like for like' replaced Dan James at half time and kept us playing with 2 wingers. So to claim that Farke stumbled on the formation change by accident or had no choice but to alter the formation is ...

Re: Should Farke start with the 5-3-2 formation vs Chelsea - Poll of the Day (1st Dec)
I have been saying for weeks he should be playing 5-3-2 or 3-5-2. A blind man could see the formation he has us playing wasn't working.

Re: Who plays alongside Rodon vs Villa - Poll Of The Day (19th Nov)
Why don't we play all three in a 3-5-2? The formation DF is playing doesn't play to the teams strengths IMO, so change it!

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 18th November) - Piroe sale could fund move for Parrott
I personally don't think Nmecha has done too bad considering the amount of game time he has had and and playing in a system that doesn't suit him. Is DF happy to change a system that clearly isn't working? I don't think he is. I personally would go 3-5-2 with Bogle and Guds as wing backs.

Re: Farke in or out poll (poll reset)
I think if we lose on against Villa (I put us down for a draw) then I hope the crowd give the 49ers as much stick as DF will get, if not more. They are more to blame for the current situation than him IMO. I wanted him gone after we got promoted. Whether they looked for other options I don't know ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 6th November) - Recall Clause Offers Leeds a Lifeline in Ramazani Loan Gamble
Mmm, personally I think he is better that some of the options we have at the moment. He has not had a proper run in the team due to injury and other things, but I would definately play him ahead of JH and on a par with DJ, if not before him. An odd decision to loan him out for nothing IMO and I hope ...

Re: Positives & Negatives vs Wolves (a)
Positives - Three good goals - one especially good. DCL leading the line well. Happy with our LB.
Neagive - Not sure if it was a tactical decision by DF, but we seemed to sit back on the lead. If we played like we did in the FH we would have hammered them.
