Yes please on a free, there's loads of reasons this could work, and i'll guarantee he'll wanna get one over EFC by helping us stay up.
Something went wrong there with Moyes or the club or the fans, to me it's a no brainer as a free agent stop gap that could very easily could good with the right players around him.
I'm not talking top 6 for us here, i'm talking help us build for the next year. We MUST stay in the Premier first and foremost.

This by no means says we've ended our transfer window, build the squad, he's only 28.
Okay he could be a biscuit, but he's free!...Keep looking, and see if EFC want Bamford.
Free - No brainer - Keep looking for another 3 - Fight for places and contracts.

Fitness wise about as reliable as Paddy
Goal scoring wise probably worse than Paddy

Back up to Piroe he's an ok signing.

The more I see of Nmecha the more he looks a winger that can play inside a bit. So another striker, marquee signing is needed

You mean we'll have brought in two strikers who don't score?

Posted it up on the transfer thread, may as well have his on thread, as he is on his way to Leeds.

Scraping the barrel now.

At least it's another body in.....Bamford's replacement.

Yes but we're light on wingers so he can cover for James imo

I suppose it's another body, as you say, we need to build our squad up.

You never know, Calvert-Lewin may work out well for us.

If he score half a dozen goals for Leeds, they could be vital for us to remain in the Premier League.

Obviously, his injury record is a huge concern, and there are reasons why Everton wanted rid of him.

Personally, I differ from a few on here, as a free transfer. I don’t think it’s the worst thing we can do at this moment in time.

The new real number nine, then Piroe, then DCL with Nmecha as another back up I don’t think he’s too bad at all.

I wouldnt say it’s scraping the barrel, he’s a decent player, with lots of prem experience and only 28, I hope for him as well as us he can find a patch of fitness and get back to his best.

It’s not exciting but if we can sign a good number 10 or winger to go with him then I’ll be a bit happier.
