Re: Southampton pre match chat
He complained about the experience and highlighted Ipswich experience. Then said he didn't want to buy experience :duno: So it's his fault then? And then tried to make it sound like you establish yourself in the Premier League by staying in the Championship longer. It's nonsense  I think you c...

Re: Southampton pre match chat
Farke talks about experience being essential an cites Morsy at 34 for Ipswich, yet last night to see out the game Chelsea brought on two youngsters. SUB: Josh Acheampong (18 years) SUB: Jimi Tauriainen (20 years) What a foolhardy decision, you need old heads to win a game... oh by the way Chelsea w...

It would keep Ellandback and Cjay in material for a lifetime.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 10:02 pm Been said several times already. We have to field our strongest line up and play to win. Imagine the uproar if we didn't and Ipswich lost.

Re: Southampton pre match chat
Not talking about his tactics (all be it I don't think Marsch is all that different to Farke tactically). Attacks very narrow, full backs provide width and a focus on central attacks etc. I don't find Farke as unbearable as Hecky or annoying as Marsch incidentally. Point was what he said there &quo...

Re: Southampton pre match chat
All itis indicative of is that football is, as Mr Greaves would say, a funny ol' game. A few seasons back my Sunday side played in the Cup Semi (played in midweek), we were 2nd in the league at the time and were playing the team top of the league. Thrashed them 5-0 with yours truly opening the scor...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 2nd May) Should Leeds go for broke on Saturday
As if Farke is going to do that - imagine the fallout if Ipswich lost and we failed to win and it was perceived that he had put out a weakened team I know, but we have 5 subs we can bring on if the situation warrants it. Id rather we lost the battle but won the war. Ipswich wont lose on Saturday. E...

Ipswich will be two up in ten minutes.
We don't want to be sitting here on Monday fretting over injured or suspended players.
Play the kids!

Re: Leeds fans love suffering...
Another thing Leeds fans live doing.
Crying over spilt milk.
Going into the playoffs the manager and entire squad bar two or three have no memory of tbe playoffs. Neither do the owners,
That leaves those fans. Perhaps we are better behind closed doors.

Re: Today's Games
That would be an average wage bill based on thay of under 9000 a week. 1778182432942137616 We had the 11th highest average wage bill in the Premier League last season according to the official accounts. Even halving that is £73mil. We know from court documents they were going to pay JKA over £90k a...

Re: Today's Games
1st parachute payments would be 23/24 accounts so next year they'll be released? As you say it will include the money for Adams and Sinisterra, people like Rodrigo, Aaronson, Roca etc off the wage bill. But also the £30-35mil we spent on signings. But I'd be amazed if our wage bill is as low as you...

Re: Today's Games
We've had the £50mil+ one I think this season. Isn't the next around £35mil? Edit apparently 1st is somewhere between £40-50mil which we got last June. Next would be £30-40mil which we'd grt same time. I was wondering which accountancy period they will show up in. Not the ones published which show ...

Re: Today's Games
Don’t really see it as a free hit. Farke has to go in to that game believing the impossible and Southampton would love to win at ER and damage our self confidence a little more than it already is. Seems like an important game in many ways. At least to me anyway. I get that, but I think we have to b...
