Definitely worth another look  1793363702483398660 Source: https://x.com/LUFC/status/1793363702483398660 Great watch Ash. Now give that lad some credit there, and some now in the bank. That was a top top save, he can only get better with experience like that. Look how his eyes are transfixed...

Re: Today's Games

Ahh, yes it is, from the beeb, amazing sometimes what a different manager/change in set up/ position can do for a player that believes in his own ability and is prepared to work. From the beeb : Lookman, 26, had never managed double figures in a season for Charlton, Everton, RB Leipzig, Fulham or Le...

Re: Leeds Utd v Southampton - Match Thread

@mods, shouldn’t this thread not be opened for commentary until match day? Thus, this content would belong in the pre-match thread? Not trying to start any controversy…but have been going back and forth between the two threads and just had this realization. Same here, now this is where it gets fool...

Re: Play Off Final - Leeds Utd v Southampton

How can you be so flippant, just going on facts and figures... a proper Leeds fan would be looking for signs and portents. The stars in the paper, you cloth-eared heap of anteater's catarrh, the zodiacal signs, the horoscopic fates, the astrological portents, the omens, the genethliac prognosticati...

Re: Play Off Final - Leeds Utd v Southampton

I did think about having a few quid on Southampton myself, thinking if we did lose, at least I’d at least get my ticket and beer money back. If i put money on anything as close as this and especially Leeds/England owt like that Aussies/England cricket where i'm desperate for us to win, it's a cast ...

In some perverted way that's a win/win
That's my thought process.

I'm bangin £50 on em.

Re: Play Off Final - Leeds Utd v Southampton

Poll required : I'm seriously thinking of taking one for the team. Leeds are 4/6 to qualify (as they put it) Soton are 6/5 This is to bet on who actually wins promotion if it goes all the way, i'm seriously thinking of putting £50 on Soton and not giving a flying feck if i lose, and indeed want to l...

Re: Southampton pre match chat

Too many people getting worried about their players, and not enough respect for the players we have. Farke knows what to do, its up to our players to go out and perform like we all know they can do. If they play to their potential then we win this game. For me midfield is the key area for us. Win t...

Re: Premier League Thread - Poch leaves Chelsea

You make a fair argument. My stance is that he'll do better with a better team and a better board. I'm confident in Farke and the 49ers taking us to 15th or better. I think he's good enough for the PL. But he's going to have to get there by promotion. He won't get hired directly given his record. L...

Re: Premier League Thread - Poch leaves Chelsea

I agree that nobody else will hire Farke in the PL. Two relegated seasons doesn't make a great CV. But I do think he's qualified and able. The two relegations weren't entirely his fault. I'm confident that he'd do better with Leeds. We know the 9ers will invest more into the squad than Norwich did....

Re: Premier League Thread - CITEH confirmed as CHAMPIONS

Really surprised at Pochettino leaving. They had a bad start to the season. That was somewhat understandable given the huge squad. He had a big job to do in establishing a key group of players and creating a team culture and chemistry that was seriously lacking. Second half he really turned it arou...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 21st May) Touts charging Leeds fans double for final tickets

Agreed, Kenny. I think DF’s gotta go for it. But the players need to respond by being extremely aggressive with the high press. If we pull that off, they will crumble and we’ll get a goal or two early on. That will then permit us to play our game more by absorbing pressure and countering when oppor...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 21st May) Touts charging Leeds fans double for final tickets

From a scientific standpoint, dreams are largely understood through the lens of neurology and psychology. The brain processes information during sleep, consolidating memories and emotions, which can manifest as dreams. If enough people report that they have a dream about their team loosing and enou...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 21st May) Touts charging Leeds fans double for final tickets

How to Neutralize Southampton’s Tactics Bypassing the Press: Use quick, direct passes to bypass Southampton’s high press. This could involve longer balls to exploit space behind their pressing midfielders. This has not been the way Farke has been playing, it is usually slow tippy tappy from the bac...
