Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 10th June) Leeds set to bid on Bayern star

Really don't know why we don't go all out for someone like Glen Kamara to rival KP. Genuine like for like quality. Deep-lying, great ball carrier and has plenty of tricks and skills that a good No. 10 would have too along with a wealth of experience. He's always played really well when I watch him f...

Re: StuntPegg

These matchday vloggers can make a fair few quid out of it from the number of views their videos get. Wouldn't surprise me if the best ones are season ticket holders at a number of clubs.. Unfair on genuine folk who can't get tickets to watch their club maybe but I don't think it is against any rule...

Re: Jesse Marsch post Brentford.

Absolutely delighted for JM. Been up against it from day one from many angles both on and off the field but you could see how much it meant to him. For me he has done all I could've wished for and thoroughly deserves the chance now to take us forward. It's imperative we have a manager who sees the v...

Re: Player Ratings v Brentford (A)

Meslier 6 - Largely assured throughout with fortunately not much to do. Safe hands when called upon. Koch 8.5 - Huge. Been a massive player for us these last few weeks and was brilliant again today. Won plenty of headers and got himself up the pitch too and was really decent with the ball. Maybe cou...

Re: RIP To Those Departed

Former Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds has died aged 46 after being involved in a car crash. The all-rounder played 26 Tests, 198 one-day internationals and 14 Twenty20s for Australia between 1998 and 2009.

One of the biggest hitters the game has seen. RIP.

Re: Could be our last night in the PL...

Assuming we do get relegated - which is looking more likely than not - then I all I can say is that every minute in the top flight has been brilliant and those that brought us here - from the owners though the others running the football side of things, through coaching staff and to the players did...

Re: A thread about something a little more refreshing

Can't remember the costs back then but remember the drinks. I remember around 16 thinking both Guinness and Tetleys bitter looked awesome with those really rich bodies and those creamy heads making them look extremely appealing. I must've got about a third of the way through before deciding they tas...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 13th May) Leeds Squad are on their last legs

We were going down with Marcelo & now looking extremely likely with Jesse too, mate. 23 points in 28 games was relegation form, the writing was on the wall from day one to be honest, by the end of December it was looking grim with only three victories, two against relegated Norwich & Watfor...

Been on the cards all season really. I was looking over my shoulder from game one. Took us ages to get points but really for me, was when Burnley won three on the bounce of their catch up games. I knew we were in serious trouble then. Similar time for me. Before Man C we went 5 unbeaten and w...

Re: Player Ratings Chelsea (H)

Meslier 6 - Decent enough when called on but could do nothing about the goals and got little protection. Koch 7 - Gave it his all. Only player to emerge from the last 2 games with any serious credit. Looked calm and composed. Hope he stays. Llorente 4 - Shaky and given a tough night. No idea where h...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 11th May) A point would be massive tonight

I wanted Dan James up top so we could exploit City with pace. Try to frustrare them so they over commit and then the right ball sees James's pace get him away and clear. Could have worked if James had been on instead of Rodrigo when the City defender slipped, with the score at 0-0, as James would h...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 11th May) A point would be massive tonight

Good Afternoon Everyone. Cjay, you make a great point, and I remember looking at our last couple of games where Marsch pulled out all the stops to ensure we weren't going to concede a cricket score but with our goal difference it wouldn't have made the slightest bit of difference. I felt that Marsc...

Re: Player Ratings v Arsenal (A)

Meslier 4 - A howler and a half yes. It happens. Hope the lads keep his chin up over the next few days and he is ready for Chelsea. Ayling 2 - Let himself and everyone connected with the club down on what should have been a proud day for him on 500 career appearances. I hope his wife confiscates his...
