Re: Have we faced the two worst teams?
In seriousness. No. Everton look far worse than both and I'd argue Villa despite their victory today. Think Forest Fulham and Bournemouth will be down there as well. Today, disappointing result that I absolutely would've taken before kick off.

Didn't watch it but gave it a listen on Spotify. Thought it helped my understanding of certain things but also gotta give credit to the club for their two top directors putting themselves in the firing line.

Re: Summer 2022 transfer speculation and squad discussion
According to Graham Smyth the injury to Klaesson isn't bad and he is expected to be fit for Saturday. Think this is to add competition for places.AylingFlop wrote: ↑Thu Aug 04, 2022 9:52 pm Klaesson has allegedly suffered a bad injury & will be out for quite sometime. Hence the urgent need for Robles

Re: Summer 2022 transfer speculation and squad discussion
Not the signing we want.... but Leeds are set to sign Joel Robles as our back up keeper.
Now a forward and a Left Back and we are good.

Re: Lewis Bate
Good level for Bate to establish himself in a team, I have high hopes for some of our loanees. Anyone know where Bogusz has gone? I had high hopes for him too. Still with the club. Had a nasty ACL injury whilst on loan last year. Marsch name dropped him today in his pre match presser as one he will...

Man Utd have joined Newcastle United, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in monitoring Red Bull Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko but the Austrian club do not wish to sell for less than £55m this summer (Daily Mail). Just wondering how jesse marsh let this one slip, seeing we were linked with virtua...

Is there a bigger team of anti football cheats in the league than Everton right now? Lampards team showing his true colours as a nasty piece of work. Hope Burnley finish above them and they go down.

Some of mine already taken: Philip Schofield (really makes my s**t itch) Gemma Collins and the Kardashians (or anyone part of that general 'famous for being famous with no discernible talent' culture. Stephen Mulhern. Never liked Bruce Forsyth always found him a little creepy. Karen Carney (obvious ...

Any one think with his pace and ability to run through the middle he could solve our 10 problems? However.... if Rodrigo plays like he did last night... he'll be hard to displace as well.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 14th December) Fans anger over ticket sell-out
The trajectory we could have is huge given that Leeds is a big city with one club. But as noted, would very much depend on how we take the club forward from here. Sustained investment in the playing side of the club is just as important as improving the facilities. Would expect to see an overhaul in...

Re: Newcastle Utd V Leeds Utd Match Thread - James & Klich in for Harrison and Llorente
Decent performance that without the killer touch. Especially given how threadbare we are.
We can criticise recruitment all we like but nobody was calling for a new centre half at any point during the window.
On to the next game.

Re: Cream Tea
I'm now thinking it depends on the cream. Very thick, clotted cream (consistency of butter) has to be spread on first and then jam. But, if its very light whipped cream, then jam could go on first followed by dollops of whipped cream. You cannot really dollop clotted cream I very much beg to differ...

Re: Cream Tea
Pronunciation- scone as in cone with an 's' on the front.
Jam first. Spread the jam then dollop the cream.
Otherwise jam just falls off.

Re: How to cure a hangover: What do you eat the morning after?
3 step programme (depending on how severe it is)
1. A ton of water (very mild hangovers)
2. 2x Bacon and Egg sandwiches (moderate)
3. If those two dont work I have to go straight to McDonald's Large Quarter Pounder Meal, Coke, Double Cheeseburger.

Re: Player Ratings v Spurs ***Only 5 posted their ratings after a superb performance***
Meslier - 8 Made some great saves especially in the second half and had that FK covered despite what pundits might have felt. Might have to fend off some serious interest in him this summer. Ayling- 7 Looked solid and made some good progress down the right hand side. Llorente- 8 Kept Kane quiet alon...
