Re: Middlesbrough v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Hi Ian, you know Pulis's style, win at all costs, he couldn't care less if their fans are bored stiff all season. I saw a few stories from the other night of unhappy Boro fans who had made the long trek to Newport to watch their side destroyed in appaling conditions. So they were there soaked to th...

Re: Middlesbrough v Leeds Utd Match Thread

Another ultra defensive lineup against us. Home fans not happy to see such an approach.

Re: Championship 18/19

I know we keep on saying that this season is our best chance at getting out of the muddy trenches into the paradisaic pastures of the Premier League. BUT tonight's comeback by Villa Illustrates the point. THIS HAS TO BE IT!! I tuned out at 0-2 ( to continue my run of drawed games managing Leeds on F...

Re: Spying Accusation !!!

After there was no statement after their meeting yesterday I got to wondering if they contacted the 11 clubs with a progress report and maybe asking for a response from them. Maybe there may be one or two who have still unanswered questions. It is such a pity that this is hanging over the club going...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thur 7th Feb)

Ironic we basically threw the cup game against QPR to try and avoid fixture congestion then supposedly agree to the re-arranged QPR game in the middle of an already shortened week. Worrying, especially in the light of Jansens revelation about going into games tired because of heavy training sessions...

Re: B&B

Thats true, there is that concern with Brown as well as his fitness. But i suppose on the flip side, for the first half of the 16/17 season he was on loan at a truly dire Rotherham side, they were awful, had something like 15 points by the beginning of January when Browns loan was terminated and th...

Re: B&B

I admire your optimism. My concern with Brown is the same concern we have with Clarke, Roberts, Shackleton, Halme, Davis, Harrison, Pierce and even BPF. They all mainly fit the "promising youngster" bracket. Which means that while at times they may put in a decent shift for us, there is a ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 5th Feb)

Yeah I was a great day, though that season was a stinker, which in my opinion was made that way by allowing Cantona to cross the pennines for buttons to Old Trafford.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!!!!!

Re: Hope all the NFL fans enjoyed the Super Bowl

Was a very attritional game, which was such a contrast to the high scoring conference games we saw two weeks ago.

LA QB missed too many passes last night, but he was always going to be up against it seeing that Mr Brady was on the other side.

A very enjoyable climax to what has been a great season

Re: Should MB stop giving out our team sheet so far ahead?

Don't think it makes the slightest bit of difference to be honest... Seeing that most teams adapt their formations to counter ours U would suggest otherwise. For a manager who seems needs every snippet of info about the opposition it seems naive for him to announce the side so early. I wonder if th...

Re: It can't have gone unnoticed.....

Don't understand why we would drop Douglas.

He was hardly to blame for our second half shambles.

Play him in his proper position.

His delivery from set pieces will be even more critical now we have the added inches if Bamford back in the starting squad.

Re: Leeds Utd v Norwich City Match Thread

It isn't a case of us needing to play differently. Disagree. It is similar to last season, press us hard and you win the midfield it cost us then and could cost us again. We have conceded 8 goals inside the first 15 minutes this season and I have lost count of the amount of times we have been left ...
