actually no, probably not. a relitivly recent near earth asteroid was not seen till after it past us and has been described in some quarters as like a bullet passing through your sleeve. bill bryson is the source...If Yellowstone blows than that's the world gone too...and it way past due. experts there don't seem to think we'll get much warning. An asteroid hitting the moon would alter our spin speed..etc etc etc

Well, if the world is to end at 11:11 as some predict, then I'm off to old trafford and stand next to Taggart. Cos he'll get at least ten minutes longer than anyone else
