Steve Winwood – The Finer Things
John Denver – Calypso
Arthur Brown – Fire
Genesis – Mama
Vangelis – Chariots of Fire
Dire Straits – Local Hero – Wild Theme
Judith Durham (Original Seekers) – for me, simply the best ever female singer. Her effortless range and scope were breathtaking (Soprano, Contralto, Alto) – Catch the wind/Morning has Broken/Danny Boy/I’ll never find another you/ Kumbaya/ Amazing Grace/...in fact, anything she wanted to sing in that crystal clear voice. She could also play the piano – classical, pop, honky-tonk. Absolutely one of Australia’s greatest exports – lovely! So I’m old-fashioned – sue me!
