Not sure they will. I think last time around they relied on several good loan signings rather than spending a fortune, Kompany making the most of his links with City and also his standing in the game.

On his way to us on a season long loan hopefully. Not great with his feet but an excellent keeper. Can't believe Pope isn't in the England squad, better for me than any of the other keepers in there and none of them are great with their feet either.

He was injured for a long stint this season, of course, perhaps he would have had a shot at the Euros had he played.

Trafford going to Newcastle doesn’t make sense, unless they want two really top keepers on their books, a bit like Arsenal.
