Three winners for Harry, gives him a nice profit, and today’s honours. Profits also for Nick, Muppet, and myself. It was losses of varying degrees for everybody else. Lord knows when or where our next meeting will be. Sunday NAP tomorrow is from Downpatrick.

Bear in mind, that they are reviewing it after every day. If the Irish government decrees that no ambulances should be deployed to the venue, then they would have to cancel.

Also the flat racing season starts at Naas on Monday, and next Saturday's meeting is scheduled to be at the Curragh. Which leaves the question of what we should do with the Saturday Jumps comp (I think I know Nick's answer, already).

Haha, yes, we should defintely call the Jumps season over!!!

Whoever said day at a time has it right. I cannot see Irish racing going on indefinitely, there are already rumblings over here about emergency resources being utilised at race meetings. Huge connotations for the sport here, but HRI should be stepping up, helping all those affected and shutting it down until further notice.

I was going to mention this dilemma later

The next few Saturday Irish meetings are Flat fixtures therefore I believe we need to conclude the jumps season as I can't envisage any NH racing over here this season therefore we should start the Flat campaign at the Curragh next Saturday.

One meeting we could consider over the jumps is the three day Fairyhouse festival over the Easter weekend if it's given the green light, would be a nice substitute for the loss of the Aintree Grand National meeting, we all enjoy the festivals too!
