Finished a bottle of 21 year old Springbank on the day we became champions.
Had been saving it for a special occasion, seemed entirely appropriate.

What a day. I had a ticket in the Blunts end. Pretty difficult keeping your gob shut when your team is just about clinching the title.

I virtually sprinted several miles home across Sheffield to watch the scum game on the TV.

Soon after the final whistle I was to be found atop a 10 foot wall close to my house in the Hillsborough swinging my scarf and singing until the local plod insisted I stopped and came down... Mardy chuffs...
