Anyone still think Kalvin should be taking corners after that awful giveaway that led to their 2nd goal?

Put Raphinha on corners. Get KP in the box, or defending the counter attack.

The kid is the real deal. If you want anyone to go into battle with. Phillips would be the man. The kids a warrior.

I wonder whether central defence might be his best position.

As outstanding as he was, I think he had at least another gear in him today, always a step ahead of both his colleagues and the opposition attackers.

Could well be Ron, he certainly led his troops from the back, something I haven't witnessed from any of our CB's this season

While he did well we did miss him screening the back line.

Great game though.

Great game though.
 ...Absolutely Ian and once we have a settled pairing and injuries under control, normal service should be resumed.

Positive: A good team performance and result.
Negative: We struggled to get out of our own half after the break against what is not exactly a brilliant attacking football side.

He must be a manager's dream although Southgate could soon wreck his career.

I cannot recall anyone as calm, cool and confident as KP since Bobby Moore... And now Kalvin is also starting to take the ball away so cleanly and easily from opp's (Just like Bobby Moore did) his stature just keeps rising ...

Yep, class act is Brendan. Shook all of our players hands.

KP had an excellent game. Hardly noticed him which means he's doing a brilliant job usually. Does the dirty work so well.
