Bielsa has said pabs is fit now so should be on the bench Friday. If not then perhaps there is a problem there
It's good news. If he's on the bench things are ok, if not then it's taxi for Hernandez :)

I thought he was injured. I really can't believe he is not on the bench already. Without doubt the most intelligent player at the club. Players like Pablo don't come around that often in the Championship. He was instrumental in the Championship and still has a vital role to play in the PL for me, even if it is a late cameo. I presume the tiff as not healed properly. Teddy Sherringham was still scoring goals at 40. :|

Pablo Hernandez vs. Newcastle:

8 minutes played
12/13 successful passes
4/5 successful final third passes
3 ball recoveries
2 assists 🎯🎯

So if he'd played 90 minutes, he'd have had

132 successful passes, 33 ball recoveries, and 22 assists. Truly Mago.

Glad to see him back and great to see what he'll be able to do as a second half sub

Pablo made a post on his instagram after the Arsenal game.

The translation is.

, “Even if it’s impossible for you, don’t ever complain about anything, swallow the poison of hatred and accept injustices, rest assured that everything is balanced in the end.”

It is very similar to something Bielsa said to his Marseille team.

“Even if you think it seems impossible, don’t complain about anything! Swallow the poison! You must be strong because if you play like this in the last [seven] matches, you will obtain what you deserve!”

Make of that what you will.

I seriously think Pablo wasnt fully fit yesterday. The game was crying out for him in the 1st half and I expected him to come on at half time. The fact he wasn't involved in the 23's today makes me think they don't want to risk him yet.

So why on the bench yesterday? Maybe if he was needed to make a difference in the last 15 minutes - but we'd used all our subs by then

I really don't think we would be where we are today without Pablo's wonderful contributions. But sadly age and MB's dog house have ended this particular chapter for us. Thank you Pablo and best wishes for the rest of your new life.
