Do like to see folk have gardens that they can be proud of.
We're just back from a ten days holiday & on return our garden is blooming.
More photos on the way.....watch this space!

Your Mrs sounds very much like mine when it comes to gardening 64, mine will potter all day.
We've started doing a lot more fruit & veg as well on top of all the decorative beds where she has been adding lots. Certainly spent a fortune at garden centres in the last year or so.
Still a few projects on the go but we like it, good weather and we are always out enjoying it, most meals out there of course.

Re: Garden/Nature Thread
We had two plastic owls on our sailing yacht. A large one at the top of the mast and a smaller one tied to the pulpit. We used to leave them on Harmony when we left her on her mooring on the river. The idea was that it would scare the cormorants off as they took great delight on sitting on the cross tree and guard rail and would all over the deck, not to mention regurgitating their stinky fish dinners all over the deck. It stank awful and we always had to clean the decks before we went anywhere. The owls didnt work by the way

Except as it has been pointed out to me a whistling ninja will draw attention to himself.Overman wrote: That's cracking, i'll get more popcorn ready for the next instalment.
Unless of course it is hiding in plain sight... you hope that no one will notice you if you're nonchalantly whistling... but if they do you can instantly become an invisible ninja.

Re: Garden/Nature Thread
Takes about 5 hours to mow the lawn here, had to get out the headtorch to make use of the good weather in the evenings this week. But got it done!
