Not a happy Swannie
Wakey lose again
Udders 22 - 18 Wakey (after Wakey lead 18 - 10 )
Not sure what to think, is Chris Chester's time up?
More games cancelled due to Covid. Madness

Re: Super League 2021
Don't know what happened there .
Sl is abit of a joke again this season with fixture congestion. To be fair to all the the teams ,short turnarounds aren't acceptable in such a physical game imo.

Re: Super League 2021
Michael Carter very honest in stating how Chezzy never got a full deck to play with and how good a job he did under the circumstances. To paraphrase Morgan Freeman, Very white of him to say that. Maybe Carter should step down too?

Re: Super League 2021
Not really my wish 64. I just couldn't see what was wrong. I would have loved Chester to have had some success at Wakey, but it's been a funny old season in more ways than one. I look at the table and I'm always looking at the team/teams below us....that's not a nice way to enjoy rugby. Wonder who will replace him?
Re: Super League 2021
Some Wakey fans also think that Chester did as good a job as possible under the circumstances, one saying that money needed to be spent on the squad and I quote "you cant make a silk purse out of a pigs ear".....so fans not happy with Carter.Orange Box wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 10:05 am Michael Carter very honest in stating how Chezzy never got a full deck to play with and how good a job he did under the circumstances. Re: Super League 2021
Some time ago I was pitchside at Odsal in my paramedic capacity and a man I now know to be Carter came up to me out of the blue and started talking to me.
His first words were, “do you know how to make a small fortune out of owning a rugby league club?”
“No” I answered.
“Start off with a big one” he belly laughed at his own brilliance.
Knob.

Re: Super League 2021
O. M. G. !!!!!! For the first time in THIRTY ONE years the Tigers win at Saints. What an effort, at times that game should have been played on Stanley Royds playing fields, it was that crazy.
James Bentley to Leeds? You’re welcome, he’s a penalty machine. COYF.

Penalty machine most certainly, enthusiastic first game back. Some timely knocks for the cas lads don't you think? Crazy game that one.
