47mill Euros is almost 40 million quid. Rather surprised at that valuation seeing we got shut of KP for not an all lot more.

Still don't want to sell him, and clearly with that valuation the club don't either. But at 40 million squids it would be hard to say no as we could get a decent replacement at that price. That said, would a replacement be any better?? Let's keep IMO.

This Newcastle link to Harrison is getting tiresome, reading that twatter thread the fans don't want him, let them get Maddison.

Our squad are just starting to gel, to sell now would be madness. IMO

Besides I thought Sinisterra was his replacement/cover

Our price was 35 million a couple of weeks ago. Harrison looked fantastic yesterday. His role has changed a little. He's still the AML, but he was coming inside a lot more. It makes him look a lot more dynamic and more of a playmaker than we've seen before. He should be a key part of what we do going forward. But I'd take anything over 30 million. Interesting that Harrison and Maddison are part of the same conversation.

There's no reason to sell him. We brought in £90m from sales already, and haven't signed anyone else since. Plus tv money, sell out crowds, merchandise, memberships etc. Selling would just be greed from Radz.

Just as an addition.

Harrison is down to his final 2 years.

You start rejecting big money offers and agents get excited.

Harrison was on top money at Man City so will likely already be on more than people expect. Given what teams like Man City pay even squad players he is probably on £50k atleast for us.

If we don't sell then Harrison's agent will want top money for any new deal

Probably talking £80k plus.

Especially when you consider what Newcastle would pay him.

Club need to take that into account to because September 2nd his agent will be banging on Radz door demanding a wage rise to fit a player who we now value at £35mil.

Premier League Chances Created:

Jack Harrison 11
Kevin De Bruyne 8
Aaron Cresswell 6
Ivan Toney 6
James Maddison 6
Harry Kane 5
Heung-Min Son 5
Ilkay Gundogan 5

Also:

Jack Harrison is only the second player in the last 10 Premier League seasons to create as many as 11 chances in the first two matches of a season, along with Kevin De Bruyne in 2019-20.

Seems to fly under the radar does our Jack, good team player, another of Berts vital cogs, but not as vital as KP was or PB or LC, but vital nonetheless.

I bet he was one of the first to tire in that heat on Saturday after giving his all. Then the manager that should've had the sense to replace him, throws him under the bus.

How many players can anyone recall Bert throwing under the bus ?

Nah thought not.

( It was Chapel that brought Bert up not me )

Must dash.

Tyler Roberts - rarely seen a player continually be thrown under the bus by a manager! Bielsa also used to leave his players out there despite being tired, not really sure tbh what Bielsa has to do with this either...did the same thing with casilla in goal

Maybe Jack isn't asking to go, Kalvin did and even named the only club he'd go to. Somewhat tying our hands. There's very little between them quality wise.

Jackie Boy is definitely under-rated and under valued IMO. He had better stats as a left sided winger than Grealish in the 20/21 season yet Grealish goes for £100k to where Jackie came from.

He does lose the ball a bit but has tremendous creatively, particularly when playing instinctively.
Plus even when he is off form a bit he always puts a shift in.

One of our Crown jewel I think but let's keep that to ourselves.

Jack would have been sold to buy De Ketelaere.

Funny how whilst that deal was still potentially possible the club were very wishy washy about Harrison's future.

"We will see" sort of attitude.

Now he is definitely staying according to Radz. . . . .

True, and probably the only thing between them is one wanted to go. Both had 2yrs left on their contracts as far as I'm aware. Anyhow, as I previously mentioned, I'm a fan of Jack for many reasons, and that stat posted above about chances created so far this season is a great illustration of how important he is to us.

He has been infuriating at times since he arrived with 0 consistency.

But he has really stepped up so far this season and seems to be enjoying the additional responsibility now that Raph has gone.

Was brilliant today and he and Rodrigo are developing a great understanding.

Keep this up and he will go to the World Cup.

His stats (JH) make for some impressive reading this season. Sell him to Toon and you’d want your head looking at

Vastly under rated by people at times is Jack.

Listened to a few podcasts he's been on, very humble and at times self depreciating and seems to wear his heart on his sleeve a bit too much at times.
Can honestly see him getting in the England team even if it's just a friendly or the pathetic European nations thing.
Fantastic all round performance today.
Well done JH 👏

Oh and definitely worth much much more than 10 million

On today's performance, he's worth the £40m that was being bandied about. Has started the season really well, I hope he can sustain it as he a baller when he's on it.

I can imagine him getting very down at times, especially if he reads messageboards like this, twitter etc. His stats are comparable to Raphinha yet to many Raphinha could do no wrong whereas Harrison seemed to be one that fans would turn on regularly. Everybody wants to be loved.

Jack's Stats if they continue not only will help us get points but if he continue will bring him under the notice of the England boss.
