I think the ban is the strong indicator of his misdemeanor. We are talking about wrecking a young players career and International career. Its got to have involved some serious foul play imo. He will now after think of other cheap thrills to fill his time with. Silly boy.

It will be interesting to see if they disclose the type of bets he made.
If you look at the bets you can now make on football, it's literally no different than betting on flies crawling up a wall.
I just this minute looked at Wm Hills and could have bet on a live game in the Mongolian league, which was 2-5 in injury time. 60-1 the home side not tempting, less so the 10,000-1 on the away.

Seriously, if Toney was betting on something like that, and there are such most days, then that is hardly using any experience as a footballer or inside knowledge.
The other end of that spectrum is if he did bet on games which he had information, or even was playing in.
