Re: FPL Competition
Bamford and Dallas got me great points last season, but now it's a different story. Loyalty to Leeds doesn't equal points in this compMuppet the Cat wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 11:06 am Binned Bamford for Toney before last week’s games 64. No room for sentimentality when there’s a comp to be won

I've had Toney in my team since the onset.Muppet the Cat wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 11:06 am Binned Bamford for Toney before last week’s games 64. No room for sentimentality when there’s a comp to be won
Unlike some Leeds fans I don't underestimate the progression of Brentford.
Re: FPL Competition
I've binned Dallas too, his personal issue has obviously affected Stuart badly, poor man.White Riot wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 11:10 am Bamford and Dallas got me great points last season, but now it's a different story. Loyalty to Leeds doesn't equal points in this comp
Just goes to show how poor we are this season, mate.

Blimey, I thought I was doing well, but I'm one of the lowest scorers

Re: FPL Competition
well my strategy brought me 47 points and I still have arsenal and crystal palace to play which I hope will give me some more points.
I have jumped up the table to position 12. seems that if you spread your team from many clubs in the premier League then you have a better chance of scoring more points. Some folks cannot expect any more points from the remaining games, because their quotient is already filled.

I've only got the Spurs goalie today.

Re: FPL Competition
well my final haul of points on the Monday night was 15 on my total for the week was 65, second best in the group to muppet who had 80.
I think it is a valid strategy to cover as many games as possible through the selection of your team.
if the team you pick has many players from the same team then you reduce the number of games that you could score points from.
however if your team is composed of the best players from as many different teams in the premiership then there is a possibility of scoring more points
I will have to refine this idea

Re: FPL Competition
I noticed that you have the same strategy as me in that you have selected 11 players from different teams.... that seems to maximize the points return.... since there will be more games to get points from.Muppet the Cat wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 8:33 am Yes, a couple of decent consecutive 80pt weeks for me Rab…………it’s sure not to last though
