4- Barnes should have been off for his reckless challenge on Dallas in first half then Rodrigo gets booked for running too close to one of their players who then fell over.
Obviously the refs have been told to let the game flow but some of Burnley's challenges were reckless and needed to be addressed with more than just a yellow card.
Poor for me,

There's letting it flow and recognising an on-the-field assault.
Burnley's bruisers clearly under instruction to push the seeming leniency from refs this season as far as possible.
5/10

5/10 I thought he started off well then just started handing out yellows for innocuos things (1 to Rodrigo and 1 to a Burnley player 2nd half) whilst giving the same punishment for tackles that were plain nasty. Some of the tackles shoudl have seen the player making them get a good lecture at the very least and being told one more foul and they are off.

Re: RATE THE REF - Michael Oliver (Match 3: Burnley (A) - Sun 29/08/21)
Just finished watching the game i am going to be a little more generous and give him a 7. It was a awful game to ref, and if we had a card happy ref there would have been afew sending's off. It was a cup tie rough battle which i thought our lads held there own. Barnes is a professional dirty B*stard tho.

Don’t think we’ll be going for that 64 - getting a mark out of 10 is enough work1964white wrote: ↑Mon Aug 30, 2021 5:07 pm Burnley fans rate ref Michael Oliver

3 should have worn red
Re: RATE THE REF - Craig Pawson (Match 4: Liverpool (H) - Sun 12/09/21)
4/10 - Appeared quite biased, giving us very little. Maybe a 5 until he dished out a straight red after consultation with VAR(?) for what looked to me not even a foul.

4/10. Allowed Klopp to influence him over the injury/red card, should have sent him packing rather than Pascal.

4/10 Got bullied by Klopp into giving the red card. Gave us f**k all
Re: RATE THE REF - Craig Pawson (Match 4: Liverpool (H) - Sun 12/09/21)
4/10
Gave us nothing!
Difficult enough playing a quality side such as Liverpool.
