And his work tracking back to provide support for the Right Back must not be overlooked. He scares the hell out of defenders at this level with his pace. He is in my starting eleven for the foreseeable future.

Anthony is a left winger. A backup to Summerville. He's also not a Leeds United player. He's here on loan. So I don't care much if he is "happy". He is here to fight for minutes.
Totally agree Paul. And happy to have all options available.

Exactly, Joe. He's always brought a bit a spark when he's come in and he always has his eye on putting the ball in the back of the net--great to have a chance to see this on display for the majority of a match. Should help him get into the flow.

Summerville benched after Saturday's performance- very surprising.

Absolutely no way Ampadu gets rested. Hopefully we can get a good lead and sub him. But I can't see the team ticking without him.

Center backs are very rarely rested. And Rodon did get a nice little rest recently when he was sent off after 60, then didn't play the next 2 games.

Great time to rest Jimmy and try others.

I suppose starting PB is a bridge too far atm

Surprised by a couple of things on the selection. Really surprised both full backs stay the same.

Farke must have been disappointed with Kamara v Norwich

And both wingers? Especially Summerville.

Would have been less surprised if Bamford had come in

At least with 5 substitutions you can make changes if it's not working

In Farke we trust

Might rest Ampadu v Hudds if this goes ok, ready for Leicester

Don't think it's a benching as much as it's a rest. He's there if we need a late goal.

Surprised Archie doesn't get a day off.

Bench has a different feel to it without 2 Keepers

Darlow, Ayling, Cooper, Shackleton, Kamara, Poveda, Summerville, James, Bamford.

I'd like to see this with a lead too, Andrew. It'd be interesting to see how the team functions without such a vital cog--fingers crossed this is never forced on us, but it's always better to be prepared just in case.

Don't fck about with our defence if we don't have to please,

Just leave them to get to know each other as much as poss, early days still, get them settled and understanding one another, easpecially if Gray might become a regular.

Deciding to risk Ampadu is a big call.

Resting Summerville whose confidence must be sky high is a strange one.

Glad to see Gruev getting a chance.

He has seemed to favor momentum and performance in previous selections, like keeping Coops in the starting line-up after the clean sheet. I imagine Jimmy would be the first sub off the bench if needed?

Not sure why he didn't stick to a winning side from Norwich. I like the fact Anthony is on but not seen much of Geuev let's hope he is good and can provide some assist

Happy with this line up, good time to start Gruev & Anthony considering the options we have on the bench. We’re going to need the whole squad this season & this is still a strong line up. Is Ampadu one booking away from a 1 game ban ? If he is I wonder what the odds are he’ll get booked tonight to miss the Huddersfield game & back to a clean slate for Leicester 🤔

Starting Gruev means he has to have Ampadu to manage midfield. He may well sub him if things are going well.

I like this starting line-up. I think its a good idea to have Summerville on the bench and Gnonto starting.

He has bench options if we have one of our "lets have an early nap" sort of games. Anthony well capable of 90 minutes.

Yeah he has so you'd think he'd want to keep Summerville in especially given how he must be confident.

Can understand rotating James and Kamara and Ampadu (given his yellow card situation) but unless Summerville is knackered or injured then it's it's strange one.
