Not having a go at our members, just saying as it is. If they think Leeds will lose, that's their choice, so be it.

I don't know, mate, I assume it varies on the player's circumstances.

I think that might be the case in the absence of an alternative.
He is fit and match sharp - the previous auditions for the role were not successful. On that basis I would be very surprised if Piroe doesn’t start if he has clearance.

DDB220 wrote: Thu Aug 24, 2023 9:28 pm I have a good feeling about this game personally. Plenty of positivity coming out of the club in the last few days. With signings happening the lads on the pitch know that they need to impress to hold on to a starting place.
Ipswich are very beatable, I am not doing the prediction thread - but I think we will come out on top 3-1.
I hope your'e right there fella, in light of recent goings-on at ER, not just the striker, but talking gnonto & sinisterra round I feel more confident and have altered my score prediction.
Within a few games we ought to be seeing a marked change in our style of play and getting better results.

Lets keep our fingers crossed for a win but it might be just a tad early to be getting too excited. I do believe though in the coming weeks we should start to see even more improvement as the team and off the field things settle down.
Great to see much more positive around the club than has been the case lately

If we have Willy, Sini, DJ, and Joel available we should rip them apart , it's gonna be a good day in Suffolk I can feel it in my water.

I think he's warmed us up to Sinisterra starting with DJ's 'tweak'

Sinisterra - Piroe - Gnonto anyone ? Doubt it myself.

You would have thought we had signed Lionel Messi where people are carrying on , the guy is hardly an household name and we need far more than a striker through the door if we are going to be pushing for promotion
Saying that I hope it works out for piroe because bamford is a dead loss , let's hope gnonto and sinisterra ain't sold to. balance the books, if by all accounts the gadgy from Bayer Leverkusen arrives at the club for 5 million quid

Probably the first test, I reckon if this game came in two weeks we would win but it is a bit soon for us.

I reckon a draw wouldn't be the worst, but I am more interested in seeing how they play.

Shiny new signing Piroe on the bench.

With James doubtful I think Sini will start and Wee Willy will be om the bench

Tough to predict the line up but

Meslier
Ayling
Byram
Ampadu
Rodon
Struijk
Poveda
Gray
Piroe
Gelhardt
James

Gnonto and/or Sini could easily start but I could see them on the bench too. Sini in the first team squad at all would suggest he's more likely to stay than not

I think Poveda is still out for tomorrow, back in training next week.

ok ... Shackleton on the wing seems indicated then
