We have 2 quality cb’s in Struijk & Koch but because we don’t have an effing LB we have to waste Pascal there. I’m amazed we didn’t see Gnonto thrown on. Why not. Would like to have see him get some minutes

It's almost left back by committee in the 21's right now. A converted left winger, then a right footed midfielder who they couldn't manage to find a loan move for, then a right back. The 21's are stacked with quality in midfield and attack but severely lacking in defence. Baffling they haven't put half the effort into a signing a promising young LB.

Love or hate him. Defensive record is better when Cooper plays. Many champion Strujik. He had a rough time last season. Would hope Koch could take on the Cooper role on the field but he's a really quiet person. We're not going to buy a Van Dijk. There may be a great £20-30m defender out there that fits the profile. But realistically if nobody is making bids on Llorente or Cooper, we can't really buy a 5th center back.

To be fair to Marsch I do not think he is doing a bad job. The Brentford game aside we haven’t been turned over this season. Game management has question marks but the problem we have, as many point out, is the bench. From an attacking perspective we are relying on players who have hardly played any mins other than the odd cameo appearance. You really need game time at this level to get to the level required providing you have the talent. 10 mins here or there usually when the team is on the back foot does nothing for confidence.

Arsenal blooded their young starlets early doors on a regular basis, ie Saka, Martinelli and Smith-Rowe. The first two are now the first names on the team sheet. I am not suggesting ours are in the same class but we will never know, because they are not given a proper opportunity. The club hierarchy bang on about the young talent been the reason for not needing to sign another striker. Marsch needs to man up and make it clear they are not good enough if that is the case.

Not sure if Marsch is a yes man, but he should be banging on Radz door everyday and spelling out that we are at least two to three players short.

We're still paying for last year's mistakes. It gave us too much to do this sumner, but as you say, you can't change too much at once.

Last year the James money should've gone on two midfielders. Then this year we sign a playmaker and a striker instead of Adams and Roca.

Just think about how much is needed next year

Won't have to consider those options if we end up back in the championship.

Btw, I haven't said we'll be relegated.
