Taking the villa odds the obvious names at the moment are:

Dyche
Emery
Nuno
Frank
Benitez
Beale
Knutsen

At this moment in time just from that list I’d go with Dyche or Nuno time for us to abandon this style of play the board are wedded to we just dont have the players or investment to make it work at this level.

Yes I'm sure he'll be happy to turn down more money and a lot more spending power to come to us. Just like Wolves, Villa will find out there's little out there.

He’ll be drawn to us like a fly round s**t

He'd be my pick, Jay, did a good job at Southampton without much money and probably needs to rehabilitate his rep a little after PSG. We got Bielsa when we were a going nowhere Championship club, so why not Poch while we are still in the Prem?

Poch would never come here knowing we do not spend!

Villa bound I reckon.

Realistically, at this stage of the season can we attract anyone better than Marsch? Probably not.

I cannot emphasize enough how much i feel Bert could work with most of Jesses signings - Aaronson being the main one coz he's a 100% er and a workaholic till the end, Rasmus, Adams, would also be safe in the hands of Bert and would come on leaps and bounds, throw in Sinisterra and Roca who'd need working on a little and we'd be onto a definite winner.

We ALL just need to gee the crowd up a little bit more and get them chanting for his return at home to Fulham.

It can be done guys if Radz sees sense, if Bojo can do it so can Bert and force back down some throats.

I'm trying desperately to get a ticket for Fulham and i'll get em going at the top of my voice ala 64, i'll be hoarse i guarantee, and my dream is alive and kicking.

GET THAT FCKING CLOWN SACKED RADZ AND GET ON THE BLOWER ASAP BUDDY !!!

If Fulham batter us Liverpool will do the same, we ALL need to get on our knees and pray we lose all up to the WC.

Then give Bert 6 weeks with em and we'll be reet alright

No need

I'll tell you what if we don't go cap in hand to Bert there's probably only one guy that can save us from the drop.

Find it funny how highly he's rated for not getting relegated, when we have a manager who survived a relegation battle last season. :duno:

lufc1304 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 21, 2022 8:12 am Hutter certainly looks like an upgrade on JM, Cjay, and, having speed read that article, it looks like we have playing personnel who would fit his style. Good shout
I think he would be mate.

It's a continuation of style (some won't like that I know and have concerns myself) but imo you need continuation if you appoint mid season.

Hutter has atleast shown he can make it work in a top league, won a few best manager polls in Germany which can't be easy for a non Bayern/Dortmund manager.

He isn't faultless, but no manager is and we certainly aren't going to get an elite one.

Hutter imo is a decent candidate.

Bielsa won't even respond to the club asking him about naming something after him . . . He isn't coming back.

Burnley saved us, don't ever forget that.
