+ves - hopefully the beginning of the end of the ' old guard ' which is holding the club back. Time to wave goodbye to the likes of Bamford, Harrison and Cooper. Thanks for your efforts over several seasons, but there's no room for sentimentality in the PL.

-ves - Playing a high press is inherently risky - it was with the last manager and it is with this manager. It's just the nature of a high press - but it's miles more exciting than parking the bus. However, as Bournemouth showed, a decent long ball can beat the press directly and quickly. So we need a really decent backline, which we have never had in the PL. Our CBs are just not good enough at this level, and the FBs aren't covering themselves in glory either. Llorente is not a PL player, and after nearly 2.5 seasons the jury is still out with Koch. Cooper is Cooper - as Clint Eastwood said ' a man has to know his limitations. ' Come back Pontus - all is forgiven.
