He is from Rosario and is 28 years old.

Has managed 6 goals and 1 assist in La Liga this season.

Talented lad as his YouTube video will show.

But at nearly 29 he has done his cruciate twice (one in each leg).

Few years back he was seriously considered by Barcelona, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid.

Very talented.

But those 2 serious injuries in his prime stopped those moves.

Shame really as talent wise he'd be a fan favourite I'd imagine.

But surely to risky for us?

Romano getting involved now.

Sad news :( But get a bidding war and add a sell on clause.

We've got no one to blame but ourselves.

Should be trying to keep him around long term. Send him out on loan.

He's too good to send on loan imo, not sure what we would gain from it in this instance. He needs to be primary back up or perhaps game time on the left...

He's ooc in 2024 and doesn't look like signing a new deal. Leeds fans abused him after he dared to go out on loan and he said it really affected him. The fact he's still playing u21s at his age doesn't help either.

Sell to Dortmund for £10m and put a 15% sell on clause, so when scum sign him for £100m, we benefit financially. Use the £10m for a LB or a few loan signings.

It's what happens when you prioritise sentiment over progression. Ayling should've gone in summer 2021 and have Cody compete with a new signing.

The likes of Hjelde and Perkins could be next. They won't stick around for u21s.

That is the real danger, at least JM is blooding them, like Gnonto, they aren't quite good enough yet, but, we have to have more faith and give them more game time, 'use em or lose em'
We've (imo anyway) stuck by bamford/harrison etc for far too long, bielsa had his firm favourites sticking square pegs in round holes, thats the reason CD was fed-up in t'first place, he saw an opportunity through injury / suspension but wasn't allowed to get in.

I really think we are skint.

Net spend of 0 after finishing 17th and surviving by the skin of our teeth.

Majority shareholder being sued for £300million.

Minority shareholder quiet as church mice and never invest capital.

Pretty obvious we were operating on a sell to buy policy (Orta was very proud of the fact we spent the KP and Raph cash).

Do we have to wait for someone to buy Harrison before we buy?

What if no one bids for anyone of our players?

What about the £6mil JKA installment that is due (or the £18mil total figure) Kinnear said years back the money was there if needed, he lied, isn't in our accounts.

Many questions.

Sometimes players trajectory just gets blocked and that is that.
Currently Ayling is too good to omit and Rasmus has been available for selection.

It is no ones fault.
All this hand wringing and blaming over Drameh who hasn't showed us a lot. In fact he was awful at times.

Listen to some Leeds fans and they believe that a side full of U21s will keep us going in the PL.

It wont, we buy some kids in the hope we can develop some to keep and develop some to sell.

He must have something about him with the clubs of the calibre of Dortmund and Lille after him. Both clubs known as finishing schools for talented young players.

Drameh is good at defending one on ones and that's hard to teach.

Sell Drameh and Orta can spend it on more u21s ;-) We were linked with Birmingham player and WH u21 RB the other day, so would add credence to Drameh rumours.

Man must spend all his time hanging around youth academies

Surprised he hasn't been nicked :roflmao:

Our obsession with youth players is ridiculous for a club in our position.

Sort your first team first.

What they have in common is that they are two clubs who are good at buy low sell high.

Lille arent any better than us strength wise.

Sell him and we get £3M. Ayling will be free agent in 2023 and we have a ready made replacement.
If he wants to play in the best league in the world then he knows what he needs to do and stay.
