Yeah, classic Jay
We set light to this fooking huge tree trunk in a field one time, and couldn't get the fookin thing put out. Think we were about 9 or 10, and it burned for a week, I was convinced we were off to jail
Haha. Quality. As a parent you can convince your kids of s**t like that. I used to tell my 5 year old daughter there’d be an ice age soon. Freaked her out.
We had a massive trenching machine in the field opposite pointing at our house once. We pretended it was a plane. Someone pressed a button and it started moving towards our house. Can you imagine it, kids crying and running around shouting we are all dead, dead, dead. Then a farmer casually walks over & presses the off button
Happy days!
I declare my love for Saint Daniel and I can shoehorn him in to any conversation.

Curiosity killed the cat mate
When I was 10 we moved 3 miles away from all my mates, so in summer I used to cycle up there every day.
I lost touch with them a bit, but then went back one time and the game they were playing was on an old abandoned mine site. So half of them would climb up in these red-brick buildings and the others would go outside and throw stones at them, but try not to hit them. But that graduated into half-bricks being thrown, and that was the end of me with those kinda games, cos it was obvious someone was gonna get hurt badly.

They can't write or even talk properly mate, it's embarrassing.
I work with a lot of young people and they're astounded that I can do maths calculations in my head, as they all just reach for the calculator. Lazy to think and lazy to do
