We aren't favourites though according to Sky Germany.

Priority 1: CB/LB with Max Wober looking likely

Priority 2: A striker or No. 10

I know we need to upgrade everywhere but can't see the money extending as far as a central midfielder. Hope we sign the Priorities 1 and 2. Beyond that I think we're looking at more youngsters.

Che Adams being mentioned again.

Wouldn't be that much of a shock given Orta seems to target the same players over and over.

Down to the final 18 months of his deal at Southampton but hard to see them letting go for anything less than £20mil.

He would certainly appear on Orta's analytical spreadsheet because he has been playing under Red Bull ex Ralph Hassenhutl.

Plus side then he knows the system, knows the league, has talent and his Premier League record isn't to bad.

Negative is he wouldn't come cheap, he hasnt really torn it up at Southampton, been OK but nothing special.

And if Martin Terrier was to old for us last year at 25 (having another brilliant season and being linked to Manure, well done Victor) then the same question must be asked about Adams who is 27 in the summer.

Don’t need a striker, what’s the point if you can’t get the ball to them. We desperately need some creativity in midfield - forshaw, roca and adams havnt one ounce between them. And Aaronson for all his effort isn’t being played right to get the best out of him.

I agree with this. We need a Central Attacking Midfielder more than we need a striker. Aaronson is not good in that role. He needs to start from wider positions and then make runs into the box. We need more of a central playmaker. Nobody on our squad fits the bill.

They grow them in South America. But we don't have a scouting network there....
