I like the look of this, but we'll get beat.

I'd be looking at picking a reasonably strong side whilst giving some players some minutes.

GK Robles - Would be happy with Messlier in net but think it is a good opportunity to give Robles a game to keep him sharp if we need him in the league.
LB Firpo - Seeing as he is fit we really need to see if he can prove to be good enough. THrow him in and hope he has a good game and can kickstart his Leeds career.
RB Ayling - I much prefer seeing Ayling in the side than the other options. I think he looked a little rusty still, on Wednesday, so would pick him to build up full math sharpness. If not I would give Drameh the run out against his former loan side.
CBs Wober and Llorente. Usually with a defence I would be advocating not chopping and changes as stability usually improves any defence. However I am totally unconvinced by Koch and we need to see what we have with Wober. Llorente should play better on his favoured right side of defence.
DM Gyabi - Let's see what we have got with this lad.
CM Roca - Would have been Klich but he is no longer with us so going for Roca so we don't see too many changes. A steady head to guide Gyabi.
LW Harrison - Looked bright against West Ham and means Summervile can have a breather.
RW Gnonto - Deserves to stay in the side and is full of confidence.
AM Gelhardt - He needs more than 5 minutes at the end of every game. Woefully underused this season.
FW Joseph - would be tempted to play Rodrigo but the risk is too great as if he got injured them we would be in huge trouble.

Makes sense, not sure about throwing Llorente at Wober (bit of a short straw that, poor lad) might work though and perhaps reveal a partnership, who knows.
Bloody hell you're after giving this new lad a hammering aren'tcha, Firpo alongside him, jeez poor fecker, if he comes thru that he's a cracker, but yeah i'm up for it, we won't win this cup anyhoos and will be too much of a distraction fighting relegation, so i'm sorry but untill we're a solid top half of the table side - the sooner we go out the better.

I like the rest of it too, i wouldn't mind a decent cup run playing that type of team that might reveal summert good with certain individuals whilst not fooking up the main.

We're away, against a team known to raise their game v higher opposition. I guess it depends if you want to win or not which will decide the outcome... The more changes and the less continuity in defence and the greater the odds of an upset.. I'll take the as the over if goals against is at 1.5

The way I see it is that Wober hasn't played with any of the other Leeds defenders yet so why not try to see if a partnership/combo/unit can happen with defenders that haven't had much of a chance this season - it is hardly like the ones playing have looked solid.

Yes, I’m in Cardiff and if there we no traffic would be 10-15mins door to door. But by the time you factor in traffic, parking, drink/bite to eat etc…

Unfortunately I’m in with the Cardiff fans. The stewards, in my experience, at Cardiff are at the right ‘jobsworth’ end of the scale and only once there have I been successful in getting transferred to the Away corner……..but heh-ho fingers crossed tomorrow

Done it a few times Muppett, (never been Cardiff though) I'll tell you waht works perfect , go to a pitchside steward and tell him whilst pointing your finger at someone...

Thank you that's so nice to read. Done it for a long time but in the hard times, it is always the fans that make this club and they always made up for the lack of football on the pitch. The good thing for me is, I can get on the coach and go to sleep and this has always been my coping mechanism where I can switch off totally with things in the background.
I've just dreamt that we won someone 7-2 but no one could see the pitch because of a building in front of us!!! I do dream some daft things but getting that score against Cardiff? It's a tall ask but doubt it very much lol. Would just take a win!

My husband once went in with the Cardiff fans by mistake. All his mates went in the right hand side turnstile and he ended up in the left. It was an 80s game so as we scored he went nuts and the stewards were mad with him for some unknown reason lol.

Sounds like there are going to be a lot of changes again. How we will play though I've no idea. Someone was slating how our youngsters played last night about how backwards the play has gone, a little bit like the first team. Not expecting but getting the unexpected win would be a bonus if that makes sense.

We were playing well & taking control of the Forest U21s game until we took off Drameh, Perkins & Joseph in a planned change early in the 2nd half with the Cardiff game in mind, always going to be difficult to win that match after those changes.

If I remember right, that's what happened last time in the FA Cup, the changes made the difference as we'd performed well until then.

For many years I was part of the traveling support for DC United in MLS. I was living in the Eastern part of the United States at that time which made it possible. The connection I was able to build with other supporters, club staff, and even the players and coaches was amazing. We were such a small fraternity in those days because the shear size of our country made it difficult for most to make the trips. We might only have a couple dozen up to a couple hundred. But the players were always so appreciative. For me it was what being a supporter of a club was all about. I really cherish those days.

One of these days I hope to make the trip to Elland Road. Of all the great experiences I've had with football/futbol/soccer that would be the icing on the cake.

H'mmm i think they're talking about how far backwards the 'football' has gone, considering what he tried to instil from ground level it's a very interesting observation from those that watch such.
